This Home2 Suites property is configured on par with others of this brand. The management team, however, is failing to keep up with needed maintenance and repairs. Staff were very accommodating, but the facilities were lacking. The issues we noted and worked with staff to resolve were:
- Air conditioning inadequate in room
- Room phone not working
- Kitchenette sink garbage disposal backing up
- Changed rooms twice- all had that aging hotel smell
Additional observations were:
- Elevator carpet was disgusting
- Room carpets definitely need updating or switching to a vinyl solid surface
- Only one elevator operational
- Pillows are anemic- BYOP
- No towels available in the gym
- Side entrance locked - security issue?
All was not bad, however…
- Road and guest noise were minimal- very quiet
- Breakfast was okay- not the best or worst
- Parking was adequate and security guard was walking the premises
- Bed was very soft, but not bad
- Rooms were pretty clean. 2 day room service was fine.
- Front desk staff were professional
- Room rate was lower than many others
It seems that with some investment, the property owners could bring this up to the brand standards. Until then, I am hesitant to recommend.

We stayed here for about a week, after the tornados dropped 2 trees on our house. It was ok. But not some where we would sty again. The only friendly staff we encountered was the older black lady that did the breakfast. Literally everyone we dealt with was very annoyed we asked for anything or spoke with them. It was not a good experience. At one point we had asked the young Hispanic kid to reserve the room for a few more days as we were trying to figure things out and that out INS company would call and pay for it. Ol boy said no problem, I got you.
He didn't do a dang thing and we lost the room and had to scramble to find another one. Then when we were leaving he had the nerve to ask, did yall get the insurance people to pay for more rooms. We said no, you didn't reserve the room and now we have to go to a place out in Katy....he just looks at us and blinks. Im pretty sure he is mentally retarded or some sheet.
The locker, all this happened the day my wife was to be induced. So we are running around while she has to be at the hospital on 4 hours. Wild stuff. But will never recommend any stay here; between the foul attitudes and incompetence its not worth the price.
Also the area is ssssuuuuper ghetto. Doesn't look like it but it's basically the thriller video outside of it.

The room is very outdated. The room had a stale cigarette smell to it. There were red stains all over the floor as well as the linens. The bed linens looked as if someone had been there. The bathroom fixtures and sink was rusted. The hall was scorching hot, no air flow at all. The pictures on the app are misleading. For the price we paid this was a 1 Star hotel. Very disappointed in this stay. The only positive about this stay was the friendly lady who checked us in.

I do not understand how this place either has this rating. Eric lets his workers come dressed like they want , and do what they want and he really do not care. I had a mishap of time there after being there 7 days thinking I had another day to go. Well I asked the rep if I could go and rebook the room for that stay, he said we don't have any rooms left, meanwhile Im still in the room i am talking about. Then he said it would be regular room rate to stay here, so I said thats okay I will go ahead and get my things and leave. Well not once did he say that I was in that moment being charged an additional fee. In fact he didn't even charge me that night , he waited until the next day to charge me after I had already left the state to go back home, then I call him and he said Oh I forgot to tell you that it had slipped my mind, but it didn't slip your mind to charge me tho, the very next day at 6:38 in the evening. He then says the systems were down due to the storm, but the storm was on Thursday and him and another co worker Shelby was actually checking people in while i was standing there ( old review) New one down below for Mr. Eric Howard.

Funny that you are the one that has a different version of what happened. In fact I know that you are not the one answering these reviews. You do not even know what goes on at this hotel since you are out most of the time, really all of the time. You see I was not even going to go into further detail about what I really saw, but since you are a GM are trying to back a lie, hide truth and be sarcastic while doing it. Lets start with the marijuana smell coming from your employees while they are on the clock, lets talk about how they show up for work smiling like they baked in a plant of it. And second how I was served sour orange juice on my second day there, Your breakfast worker said it was nothing wrong with it until your morning manager came and tasted it and had it immedialtely changed out, because it in fact was sour and not safe to serve Guests that day. Not to mention hardly no one takes pride in their cleanliness and personal hygiene, and other than the maids themselves that hotel is really not worth the money that you charge. And while I advised your employee of our conversation being recorded he did in fact tell me that oh I forgot to tell you that I was going to charge you even if you left, and all you can say is oh our version of what happened is different when I have audio proof. Johnny very well knew what he was doing. If I was so wrong, why not charge me then and there? You see its best you focus on making that hotel a better place for whoever stays there and not worry so much about tryintg to invalidate my experience when just like the smoke your hotel staff gives off your information is second hand, my experience is what it is I was there , you wasn't. And as for you saying find another hotel, I'd be glad to. Have a good day and learn to take accountability!!!! And Johnny next time you want to respond as the GM please make it sound like him.
Rooms: not up to par at all. carpets are stained very bad and carpet in rooms make rooms have a sour smell.

Great staff at the hotel. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. Housekeeping is the same.

I'm really not understanding how people are reading this hotel such a great Hotel. I get here early as I had called ahead of time and it's understandable that they had quite a few people here so I waited from 1 to 3:15 and I had to come in and asked about my room only to find out that the people who were in the room that I had chosen were not leaving. I should have been informed of this to begin with and given another room immediately or they should have made the people leave because someone had already rented the room. The lack of communication with these people is terrible. Nevertheless I come in the room and immediately it smells like the carpet has been wet before and not clean properly or something because it doesn't have a good smell. Then the blinds in the window looks as if they've had a flood or something because they are completely Brown at the bottom. I'm supposed to be here for 3-day stay I'm checking into another hotel tomorrow. This is unacceptable and they really need to remodel these rooms

Was originally reserved at the Homewood down the street and they had some mechanical issues. So I booked this for the week. Was a decent lateral swap. A little more updated/contemporary, but had similar level amenities.
Did enjoy the full size kitchen and refrigerator.
There's not much to walk around to. In fact only PF Chang's was within walking distance, everything else was by car.
Staff was very friendly at every interaction, including helping me with rebooking my stay from Homewood to Home2.
Rooms were clean and well kept and housekeeping was prompt and thorough.

Our stay here was great! The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. It had everything we needed. The service was friendly and fast. We enjoyed staying here and would definitely recommend it.

The beds were so soft and comfortable. The room was nice and clean and the checkin staff was super nice and accommodating.

This hotel doesn't really clean toom after each stay.. I spent one night there and the room was disgusting.. next day the hotel Manger wasn't professional at all

I really enjoyed my stay. I needed the relaxing time and I got just that. My room was well cleaned and prepared for me. Thank you for the refreshing stay! It was well needed for me, and also thank you for the waters!

Rooms need to be updated. Mattresses and bedding worn out.They have a security person but every time I've stayed he just sits in the lobby sound
