Best place in Houston for locks and keys!!! The service is amazing. The guys there will go out of their way to get what you need made super fast. Don’t waste your time at any other hardware or box store. This is the fastest, easiest and cheapest place to go!

Howard Safe & Lock was super helpful today. We called ahead to ask if they would be able to help us with a broken car key and they weren't sure if they’d be able to fix. But Debby was super kind and helpful on the phone and told us to just come in. We brought the broken key in and Mike was able to fix it up so quick!

Traveled to Houston to purchase an old vehicle that requires a special key and chip. Only one key came with my vehicle, and it was partially broken; although it would operate the vehicle.
I didn’t want to travel back home with only one, broken key; so I researched and made a few calls and found Howard Safe & Lock. I thought I could save a little money and bought a key from Amazon thinking that would solve my problem. The key could not be programmed because it was too long. Fortunately, Mor is top notch and even had an OEM key, which surprised me since this is not an average key.
Key programmed and working. So relieved.
Another huge plus was the service and hospitality. I called several places and only got machines or no answer at all. When I called this place, I was greeted with a ray of sunshine named Deb. We had a great little visit, but I told her I was going to call around. She told me that that’s fine but I wouldn’t find another place with someone as nice as her.
She was right. I made one more phone call and decided why bother and called back. Feel like I made a new friend along the way as well.
I highly recommend these folks. 5 stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This place is awesome and it save my butt?. I had lost the keys to a lock and these people were kind enough to remove it. We bought a new lock from them and they gave me two extra free keys before I left.
