Weirdest experience ever filing our taxes because H&R Block seems to think they are running a charity, not a business, and are hiring the strangest people you will ever come across.
I have no problem with having a tax agent who is for example autistic or similar but still good with numbers, but when someone is autistic to the point where you can't communicate with them, are not good with numbers, are not good with computers and not able to read numbers off a paper and type it into the system I have a problem.
This is our taxes we are talking about I'm not ordering a freaking happy meal at McDonald's, please take it seriously.

I had an appointment with Brandon and left feeling worried about my tax return. When he was showing me what I owed, I asked if I qualified for any deductions or credits. I had brought in my receipt for energy efficient windows that I had replaced on my home. He replied that home repairs need to be a certain amount to qualify. I then googled the form and told him about 5695 form that I qualified for and can get up to $600 dollars as credit. My appointment took over 2 hours while he was trying to figure out how to fill out the form and another tax expert had to step in to check his work. Will not be coming back to H and R block.

Definitely recommend them for your tax prep! I came on the wrong day and luckily they were able to get me in without having to come another day. They waited even beyond the store closing time. Both the lovely ladies, Mrs. Peggy (tax accountant) and Mrs. Mary Collins at the reception were very courteous and helped all my answers and filed tax quickly. This was my best experience being with HR Block over the years.

Do not use these services. Tax preparer completely unprofessional, hard to find, doesn’t call you back, gives you the runaround, then disappears after April 15. Thanks to their carelessness and mistakes on our tax forms, we are still dealing with problems on our return. STAY AWAY

Absolute train wreck of a tax service. They didn’t keep appointments, strung me along for days, didn’t call me back, and when they finally prepared a return it was completely wrong. I wasted a week of my life and 10 phone calls trying to get my taxes done. I ended up using a free online tax services and just did it all myself. DO NOT use HR Block they are totally incompetent and horrendous customer service!!!! Go anywhere literally anywhere else.

I had a fine experience with my tax professional, but every time i called the Heights location I was either hung up on without speaking to anyone or treated rudely by the front desk staff.

Sorry to report … called the Heights office on 19th. I needed a W-4P completed and they didn’t know nor never heard of a W-4P form. If they do tax returns they should have been familiar with the form. To the representative’s credit she did Google it. I tried over and over to explain the assistance that I needed but gave up after I saw it going nowhere.
