The store itself is great place to do taxes. My experience this years isn't good because I have Identity Theft that H&R caused and isn't doing much to help get my money of peace of Mind back. Last year my Identity was stolen and this year I had $1,362 taken from my Emerald Card that I didn't have linked to anything online of even linked to my phone but online charges were able to be made. I pay for the Peace Of Mind and Identity Protection but neither service did anything in helping resolve this issue. What is the point of even doing my taxes with H&R next year if nothing is safe and secure. Even as I informed the agent I had Identity theft and provided my new numbers I wasn't given a new Emerald Card which allowed for whoever has my identity from last year to be able to use funds from my card information registered with H&R. It wasn't until after I got a new card that the fraud transactions stopped and money stopped being accesed. With this situation I'm not getting much help or information other than being told to call a number and wait about 10 days for an investigation to be done. However a detailed investigation isn't done, it's as if they use AI to validate claims. Overall my experience this year was not good.
