This bank is terrible. They invited me over for a second interview and told me that they will not hire me because I am overqualified, since I have a bachelor of science degree. My resume was attached to my application, which clearly stated that I have a degree. This bank wasted my time and money. Why bring someone in for a second interview if that is the case. Do not apply here if you have a bachelor's degree or intend to get a master's degree. Some of the interviewers feel threatened by anyone with a bachelor's or master's degree.

Horrible customer service, this bank is very disorganized with unprofessional staff. Their online banking is even worse. DO NOT BANK with them. Rude.

I find customer service to be lacking at this bank. There are no decision makers at any local branch, and when decisions are to be made, they are usually to the detriment of the customers. Now, don't get me wrong, the Customer Service reps are very accommodating, and go above and beyond their usual job description to help you out. I applaud Dave and Gerald at the Kirby branch, and Vasu at the Montrose branch. However, management outside of the bank seems to work in a reactionary fashion. In this day and age where electronic transactions take place at the speed of light, decisions don't. Worse, they are usually not favorable to their customers. I can now see why the average rating is 2.9: they are a less than mediocre. If this was a grade in school, it would be a 58%, which is failing. It would seem to me that upper management would look out for their customers, instead of insisting that we go through a lot of bureaucratic red tape. Unfortunately, most other banks are the same. Maybe they need to learn what real customer service is all about.

Very incompetent bank system and staff. My housband and I decided to close our accounts. We were very unhappy to deal with lots of incompetence of the bank system almost every week. This bank is so unprofessional. Wells Fargo is the best bank in Houston Tx so far.

I am closing my account and moving my funds to another bank TODAY! I make an appointment the previous day to meet with the bank manager 'Carlos" at the Kirby branch at 11am. I mention to him that I will be driving from very far so would really appreciate if he could meet with me personally and answer a few questions about my business account.

I rented a car on March 5 using my debit card and returned the car on March 6 and paid cash. IBC is still til this day 3/24/17 holding my $200 deposit. I asked to speak to the supervisor, Rolando Reyna, who refused to get on the phone, he brushed me off like dirt on his porch. What is he there for!? Javetta tried her best to help me but employees do what they are told. Reyna told her to tell me to call the number on the back of my card ( for lost or stolen cards). All I want is MY MONEY so that I can buy my diabetes medicine. I'm on a fixed income and their policy to hold funds unacceptable! I will NEVER bank here again and I will make it my business to tell everyone how horrible this company is!!! And to Rolando Reyna, you need a course in business management and people skills, because right now you suck at both!!!!
