The seats were great, provided with recliners and a blanket. Good was good but extremely overpriced due to it being seat serviced. Would go again only for dates.

I went to iPic to see Wicked opening weekend; worst mistake.
I chose iPic specially for smaller theaters, with comfort seating, free bag of popcorn and to enjoy a class of wine whist watching the film. I have seen and enjoyed many features at iPic, however NOT anymore.
ALL CUSTOMERS PLEASE READ...
1) AUTO 18% gratuity for all guests WITHOUT any communication to the customer so the customer ends up double tipping and iPic due to zero communication (apart from the fine print on a poster that I can only assume every customer is suppose to ready).
- I paid $22 for a GLASS of wine ...when the employee could have suggested get the $50 bottle and share with my friend who came with me.
2) No more free bad of popcorn for their customers UNLESS you are a GOLD member. Not a paying customer, not a Silver you MUST BE GOLD.
- I ended up paying for the worst, salty and stale popcorn
3) The excuse from Guest Relations Manager; Donte' Hodges
"At IPIC, we apply an automatic 18% gratuity to all bills as a standard practice. This service charge goes towards your server, along with everyone in the building delivering any drink or food item."
- iPic employees earn between $10 - $25 an hour ... so please inform me how this is STANDARD practice (that is a false statement). If it was to the Server and ONLY the server who is attending to guest watching the movie pre, during, and post ... ok. HOWEVER, employees earning $25 an hour are also taking a cut of the 18%.
I should have gone to the newly and amazing renovated Regal on 1-10 and paid $30 for my VIP ticket, all you can eat popcorn, drinks, amazing seating, food, and full bar.
iPic has gone 100% downhill for RiverOaks. I will not return.
I suggest those who go be aware of the auto 18% gratuity because not one employee, manager, GM will tell you.

Terrible nachos, ginger ale was not ginger ale and it didn't help that the movie sucked!

Love watching movies here. I took my granddaughter for her 1st theater experience to see Moana 2...best atmosphere. She reclined under her blanket like she was a princess at home!!!

I probably go there once per week. I go there often enough to recognize alot of the employees. I walked to the bathroom while discussing which movie to watch with my girlfriend and the shorter male host chased me down the hall to confrontationally tell me I can’t use the bathroom until I buy the tickets. Told him I literally come here every week, probably have spent 2-3 grand here over the last couple of months if you include food, and was just using the restroom while discussing which movie to watch. Told me to either buy a ticket or leave, which I think is crazy. If I were new I’d understand, but being a regular that is insane.

Definitely our favorite movie theatre in the Houston area.

Suddenly have removed the front rows so the first row of the premium seats is at the very front. This is a sudden change- I’ve been coming here for years- and it was an absolutely terrible experience. The change needs to be properly highlighted online!

My husband planned a date night for us in Houston. He got tickets to see RedOne at IPIC. I am blind and have grown accustomed to having audio description given its ubiquitous availability even in small towns across the country, but IPIC does not currently offer audio descriptions. The staff there would like to offer it especially since two people have requested it within three weeks. They did refund our ticket purchase and allowed us to remain until the end of the movie. After the fact I looked at their website and it clearly states they offer CC, but there is no mention of AD.

Really good movie and dining experience- Especially the girl who took my order- might be spelled wrong but I think she said her name was Brea/Bria. Anyways she was 10/10 customer service. Now, the cleanup crew.. I know it was on me for forgetting so I’m not blaming them at all, however when I went back in (to the screen room) I POLITELY asked if my to-go container was there or if it had been tossed, I was met w eyerolls and mumbles. Not saying I wanted them to break into a search party for my food, but they could’ve pretended to care enough to at least ask me where I was sitting, not just stare at me.

No better way to watch a movie than this. Now I'm spoiled. We had a great time and will definitely be back.
