Very difficult to deal with their onsite shredding. They canceled on me the day before on my first schedule. Rescheduled for a different day and gave them a specific timeframe and they could not meet the deadline. I canceled and it took me three times to cancel. Very poor communication and always deal with an answering service. Horrible experience. Would not recommend them at all. It took me hopefully three times before I got it canceled. We had to rent an extra storage unit for all our shred items until I can find someone else.

Iron Mountain is so difficult to deal with. Once I started inquiring about closing my account, it has been one thing after another. I want to destroy some inventory and the price went up to $11.55 per unit. $11.55 is ridiculous. I was not aware of the increase because they mailed the notification to a different address. I am trying to get the price prior to their last increase which is still high $8.80 and I get bounced back and fourth to different representative. I have 500+ units and it will cost me well over 10K with all of their added on fees, it is like they have my file held hostage, that is how I feel! Are thee prices normal to destroy files?

Absolute worst customer service. I'd rather talk to AT&T and Comcast on a conference call, than attempt a call to Iron Mountain. Been trying to close my account for close to 2 months. No return phone calls, no return emails, nothing done in any sort of a timely manner. Still, no resolution.Avoid at all costs.
