Jan Mitchell is a talented photographer who goes above and beyond expectations. Her work ethic and talent shows across the entire process of working with her. I took my maternity photos with Jah and will be coming back to her for baby photos and any photos my family and I do in the future! From the second we began working together it was an amazing experience and she connects with her clients. During the photo session, she was so patient, made it fun, and put in all the effort to ensure she and I both loved the photos. She shows you samples along the way and guides you on what to do for the best outcome. I loved that I got a sneak peek along the way! From the first picture she took, I was in love with her work. So glad my husband and I found Jah - we will continue coming to Jah in the future!

I loved my portrait experience with Jah! I would highly recommend her!I bought the neonate package which includes newborn pics, 6 months and then one year pics. Jah was so patient and accommodating with our family (myself, my husband, son and dog). Our son was only 7 days old but kept wanting to feed /play throughout the season. Jah was able to get amazing pics despite his wakefulness and worked around his feeding. The second and third sessions were equally wonderful. She is very flexible which I am grateful for!She had wonderful props, backgrounds and even little clothes. I couldn't do our 12 month pics until 16 months but Jah fit us in without any problems and just adjusted the session because our son was now running all over the studio.Thank you so much, Jah! ❤️ You captured those precious moments perfectly! We get so many compliments on his portraits.

Jah is truly an artist! Her work is magnificent and our son's 1 year photos couldn't have been more perfect! She had to order the backdrop for the theme we were going for and went above and beyond to fill the backdrop with other related items. She is super sweet and was so patient when my little terror decided not to cooperate. I will definitely be using her for all upcoming photoshoots. Over the moon to be the 100th five-star review! Jah not only deserves all these perfect ratings, but more importantly she earned them. We are repeat customers, using her twice for newborn photography, because she is the best. While her pictures are stunning, her patience and baby whisper skills are also top notch. Her new studio is big, airy, clean and comforting.Advice for families bringing siblings - bring a lap top or tablet to keep them entertained. Jah does not rush her sessions and often shows you what she’s capturing as she goes along.

Jah was very kind to accommodate us at the very last minute. She was quick in responding to our questions. Her studio was well organized and sanitized. She provided all the props and helped us select poses through her online gallery and during the shoot. Jah was extremely gentle and patient with our newborn and captured the photos very well. Her completion and turnaround was quick and she did an amazing job. Overall, I would highly recommend her services.

We cannot recommend this incredibly talented photographer enough for your newborn photos! Jah is incredibly patient, an absolute must with newborns who are so unpredictable. Our girl was particularly fussy (and messy) this day and she never made us feel bad about it and calmly soothed her and patiently worked with her to get every shot we were hoping for. She so kindly allowed us more time than usually allotted given our girl's particularly difficult behavior that day. She is a perfectionist and makes sure to get the best shot for us, knowing how quickly the newborn phase slips away and that this is the only opportunity we have to get these shots. The photos turned out absolutely gorgeous and she captured our little darling beautifully. If you are looking around for newborn photographers, I encourage you to stop your search and book with Jah - you will not be disappointed!
