Great people that work there! Ms. Jackie knows me well enough and knows her regular customers to know how my ailing parents are doing and gives hugs when needed, I've cried on her shoulder! It's the workers that make a good place. Oh yeah, good prices too but humans make a store

I did not have a good shopping experience here. Parking was okay but the store is not organized very well at all. Items are on isles with products you wouldn't think. Most of the shoppers appeared like me...lost..starring aimlessly at the signs trying to figure out where an item is located. At some point I realized I had become downright angry. I vouldnt even find my side item at all. There was a big puddle of water on the isle with the refillable bottles. It took me 30min for what should have been 10min tops. Maybe Im just a HEB/Whole Foods girly, but this store is in a very populous area and should be better suited for the community's needs. In & out should be the mission. Im not returning.

I was at Kroger a few days ago, and the overall experience was good. This location is better than some of the Kroger's I've been to. The shelves are fully stocked of whatever you need, like sodas, juice, milk, cheese, etc. The customer service was good. We bought a lot of groceries for the week and our cashier was really sweet and semi funny. He really put a smile on our face. The ambiance is like a normal, busy grocery store. This location, though, is smaller than some of the other Kroger's locations we've been to. He parking lot wasn't full but about 85% when we arrived. In conclusion, we will return if we're in the area.

I do not agree with the 3.9 rating this place has. This is a great Kroger location. This is the River Oaks area of Houston and this location has everything to service any kind of customer. The absolute best thing about this Kroger is that it is the absolute lowest price lunch in the area. In the Deli section is the premade meals and they are 6 bucks. You cannot get a 6 buck lunch anywhere in the River Oaks area and this Kroger is selling Chicken Cordon Bleu, Meatloaf and other items with 2 sides for 6 dollars you just have to heat it up. This place is never that busy during lunch either so this is a Lunch Hack for the River Oaks area. Highly recommend this Kroger location it has everything and is going to have lower prices than other chains in the area.

I like to shop here, but today Nov 30, at 12 pm, the “lady” at the self checkout was so rude! Just because I didn’t read the sign of not cash back, she even said the F word on my back!!! Not to mention the security guard picking his nose at the entrance door. Where is the manager of the store??!!

Be ready to be glowered at and side-eyed, and have your patience tested! Both self-service check out and the cashier attendants act like customers are ruining their lives! Enjoy being treated like common thieves if you self check out and both table and hand-held scanners do not work! Is management even reading these reviews?

I haven’t been to this location since moving, but it was convenient to another appointment and it was fast, clean, and I loved their pre-made salad bowls.

I cook gluten free. You can get good cake mixes that are gluten free here. In the small “health food” section.

Don't care attitudes and poor customer service. There's never anyone to bag groceries. The checkers stare you down to see if you are going to bag your own groceries, and then reluctantly relent. As I told the manager, I've been shopping at this location for over 30 years, and I intend to switch to HEB permanently, where customer service is light years ahead. Her only response to my complaint was a one-word reply: "Okay". When this location ultimately goes out of business and they lose their jobs because of poor customer service (and it will happen), I'm going to dance a jig in their parking lot at the entrance where I have entered and exited thousands of times. Good riddance!

I continue to shop at this store primarily due to its convenience and the fact that it carries all the items I require. However, it's disheartening to see that this Kroger has declined in quality from the outstanding Signature Kroger of Rivers that it once was. The service provided here is quite subpar, and it's evident that the staff lacks motivation and efficiency. There is one dedicated lady who seems to be the driving force behind the team, but the overall performance leaves much to be desired. It's puzzling why this store appears to be overlooked by corporate management because it is in dire need of improvement. One potential solution could be bringing in the manager from the Kroger Studemont location, as they have a track record of running a successful operation. Hiring new personnel also seems to be a necessity to revitalize this store and bring it up to the standards that customers expect.I'm somewhat stuck with this Kroger due to its convenience, but if an HEB or Randall's were to open in this area, I'd switch in a heartbeat.

I have been a customer of this particular location for 15 years. I have also done my shopping primarily at Kroger for over two decades. today I was told by the store manager that I could not rent a carpet cleaning unit because my ID is expired. The fact that I have been a customer here made no difference whatsoever.

I don't typically come on here for giggles to write a bad review. But my experience just now was completely off the chain. Darnella, wearing a red supervisor vest: was not able to acknowledge me at the time of my arrival at check out, because she was busy telling her coworkers about personal business, loud enough for me to hear from before I got into the line. It wasn't until one of the bag boys motioned over to her that someone was in line. At this point, she came in very dismissive, condescending, and annoyed... And you would think I was exaggerating, but she couldn't even let me get a word in and opened up her statement with "Kroger's card?" She proceeded to continue to interrupt me as I tried to explain to her that I wanted to separate transactions. At the end of the day, the job was done, whatever. But overall, that entire interaction was completely unnecessary. It almost felt like she was talking to me as if she was annoyed to be working. But I get it, girl, you're just tryna get you some money for whatever you really are getting yourself into. I guess we really could just replace all these cashier lines with self-checkout, why not? Maybe save a few cashiers the burden of clocking in and making money perhaps. The only thing I have to even say that's remotely nice, was that the young lady bagging my groceries did it quickly, effectively, and didn't make me feel rushed. There needs to be some form of customer service corrective training for Miss Girl with the power trip. You are here, clocked in to do a job, and if you don't like it, well you're outta luck, I guess. Just wanted to share, Don't call or text me to take this down cause it probably won't happen @management
