Kroger pays its employees below poverty wages. Sad for a company that is so large with profits that would not be hurt too much for paying its employees more. Large turnover of staff must cost money for training etc. Profits over people. I rarely shop here, and only buy sale items I know are a good deal.

They racially profile their customers they assume can't afford a basket full of groceries. I saw a person of color go through that today after he paid for his items. Sorry to that young man. Do better Kroger. It's 2025!

This location is small by comparison to the one in my last neighborhood. The parking lot is ALWAYS a disaster with shopping carts regularly blocking otherwise usable spaces. The amount of trash blowing through it is a bit of a turn off as well.
As this store is located closest to my home, i use it more so for "emergencies" as many of the items i consume are seldom available in this store - if at all.
The staff, while maybe not competent, have usually been very kind and helpful to the best of their ability. Make sure you have plenty of time to spare if you plan to use the deli - IT TAKES FOREVER FOR ANYONE TO ACKNOWLEDGE YOU, even when they have starred at you waiting. And maybe it's just my luck, but EVERY TIME I go to the gas station behind the store - NO ONE is in the booth.
All in all, it's better than a valero corner store, but not by much. I prefer to drive the extra miles to go to stores in bellaire, Westbury/Meyerland is turning to shit.

This store is still disappointing. They mail you coupons for products that are not in stock. I tried for three separate visits and the product is consistently out of stock. This breaks the Deceptive Trades Practices Act of Texas. That means Krogers is breaking the law.

I will never come back to this location at all, yesterday it was my beloved wife birthday. I arrived to this location to buy the cake and the things for the party and this is what happened my tire explode because of the big hole with a metal bars, coming out from the ground on the entrance. I lost balance and I was gonna hit the car coming out from the other side. I spend more than 45 minutes fixing my tire because I did not have the right equipment to do it.
Thank you, Kroger for ruining the day !

They want you to buy five or more of everything to get a lower price, and it STILL costs more than any other store!

To see a younger, More physically fit managers such as Denise stand around while her more elderly subordinates cashiers work hard is very distasteful and speaks a lot about her character. Not to mention I saw how she was biased in who she chose to help and if she represents Kroger's, then Krogers need to pick better candidates on who they decide to represent them as a company. Managers are supposed to be the backbone for the team and I'm sad to say the cashiers have no backbone at this current moment. Right now it's every man for themselves. So if you decide to come to Kroger's at this time I will advise you not to because it's a little chaotic. She literally stood in front of a cashiers Lane who had no customers and allowed for customers to pile up in certain lanes that were easily seen as open instead of ushering customers to come to the empty lane that she was standing in front of. It's giving she's now a manager and she don't have to put in as much work because it's now beneath her. It's giving bad leadership. Not to mention to watch me struggle and force her cashier to bag my grocery instead of helping out, it's giving bad customer service. So why even be given great power if you're not able to keep up with the responsibility?

Curbside pickup service pathetic!
Keyla the person that brought out my order couldn’t put my belongings in the back of my trunk because she couldn’t handle the weight. She left my stuff behind my car for me to do it and she left. Keep in mind my order was two cases of water, dog food, and fruit and vegetables.

I've always chosen Kroger over other stores, but that's going to stop now. Last time I ordered a Pickup, I was missing every frozen food. The only option when I called was to get a refund. So that means I just lost all the coupons I used for a lot of the frozen items. I went back for another Pickup order tonight and I'm pretty sure the worker purposely made it so my bread would get squished. Possible, but unlikely it was an accident. My hamburger buns wete pulled out of a bag, partially tucked into a box I had placed back there. He handed me the eggs, why not the bread? When I got home one of my 12 packs of soda were laying on top of the bread. This sounds petty to complain about, but this feels just so mean.

The cashiers are so friendly and nice-- for years. I needed more help in the back today. I asked for a certain cheese, was told they used to sell it but it didn't sell, so they don't have it anymore. Online it says they have it. I found it in the kosher area after looking.
On the spice aisle an older woman asked the stocking clerk for help finding trash bags. The clerk said, I don't really know probably to the left area of the store. The woman said she already looked there, the clerk said sorry she didnt know. I saw the trash bags on another aisle and went to find the woman to tell her. Please if the clerks can be more helpful in the back.

WHOEVER is working the Kroger pickup area on Sunday 11/03 at 7am is BEYOND RUDE AND NOT HELPFUL. Pissed me off so bad. I asked him a simple question to help me with the pickup process! I understand it’s early in the morning but there is no need to take it out on a customer. Stay home if you’re in a bad mood for WORK.
