I was at the self checkout on 6/4/25 and was scannimg my items but had a question about a digital coupon I had scanned.
I told the guy I had scanned it 3 times but needed to know how to find it in the app once it was scanned because I seem to have a hard time finding it or where it goes once it’s scanned.
He said if it didn’t come up at the end he’d come back and help me.
It was at the store closing and there were still people in line. He was chatting with the security guard and another person and I was trying to get his attention.
He finally saw me trying to get his attention and came over. I told him the digital coupon didn’t come up.
He said if it didn’t come up then it was from last weeks ad or else it would have came up.
I told him it wasn’t from last week and if that was the case then the sign should be down or else honor it.
I offered to show him the coupon that was below the item in the store He just looked at me. So then I said again and I still don’t know how to find the digital coupon in the app once it’s scanned - feeling annoyed and frustrated at that point.
His reply again was if it didn’t come up it was from last weeks ad followed IMMEDIATELY by…
so do you want it or not??
I ignored him due to how I was feeling at this point and placed the item in the bag since I’d already scanned it (with no digital coupon coming up on the screen).
He just stood there and said he was just working there to try and make a living is all.
I said yeah and I’m also working to make a living too and shaking my head to show I was not happy with his lack of assistance.
He nevet offered to show me in the app where to access the digital coupon once it’s scanned as I had requested 2 times. And he
He didn’t offer to come back to look at the sign.
He just completely blew me off!!
I got in the car, I saw other people still walking out.
I pulled up the store ad in the app and there was the item on the front page! Since the store was closing I didn’t go back inside.
But that was nothing short of not only being disrespectful to me but his total lack of customer service skills. By refusing to look at the coupon I saw beneath the item in the store and refusing to show me how to access the digital coupon in the app once it was scanned did not settle well with me.
ANY effort on his part would have been nice!! But he didn’t - he just shrugged me off and gave me a lame excuse.
That really hit me the wrong way!
He needs to learn how to do his job, learn a lesson in customer service or at least SHOW SOME EFFORT and should be taught what the true meaning of WORK really means.
I drove home and that’s all I could think about!!
I left the store feeling annoyed, frustrated, feeling belittled and disrespected.

This is quite literally the worst grocery store in the country. They only have produce on the cusp of rotting, prices are absolutely insane and don't even get me started on the staff. What a mess

We always bought the food and stuff in this store. We ordered the cupcakes for my daughter class when they have the event. They love the cupcakes ❤️❤️

I do a drive up order at this Kroger just about every week and Melissa truly makes it a great experience every time! She's such a nice person and I'm always confident the order is going to be perfect!

They are selling spoiled milk after the hurricane. I will add this to the list of spoiled meats I've bought from Kroger. Switching to HEB. They also sell expired can goods. Check the dates.

Everything was good except for the bagging today. We bring are own bags. The bagger today excessively over stuffed our bags. Needed a better distribution between more bags. The worst part was the hot dog buns were put at the middle of one of the bags, with heavy items placed on top of them.

Review of Customer Service Operator Dana: Disappointing and Unprofessional Experience
I recently had a deeply disappointing experience with a customer service operator named Dana while she was scanning my items at the register on June 14, 2024, around 7:45 PM. From the outset, her attitude was rude and dismissive. Rather than addressing my concerns with the respect and attention they deserved, she exhibited a consistently poor attitude that made the situation far more frustrating than it needed to be. What made the experience even worse was her lack of focus on customer service. She was visibly distracted and spent a significant portion of our interaction using her phone. This blatant disregard for professional conduct and customer needs is unacceptable in any service context. Dana’s behavior was unprofessional and entirely unsatisfactory. I hope the company addresses these issues promptly to prevent other customers from experiencing such poor service in the future.

The pharmacist Dustin tang is very unprofessional and petty! He intentionally makes you wait, doesn't matter how sick you are!! He filled the white people, I was here first !! He's very biased!!!
