Do Not Shop Here! WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE I placed a curbside order since earlier this afternoon. I scheduled my pickup between 7-8pm. I arrived at 7pm and it is currently 8:47pm and still no order. I am not the only vehicle waiting since 7pm for an order. There's an elderly lady who has been since before 7pm. This is beyond ridiculous on customer service. The manager just keeps saying it will be out in a few minutes and almost two hours later from pick up time still no order. Kroger has definitely lost me as a customer!

Customer service is the worst I have experienced in all my grocery shopping. Matthew is in an elevated role and was shockingly rude by interrupting my question, off putting nonverbal (I.e. annoyed glaring, closed off body language), and smirked when he delivered disappointing answer to me. It seemed he found joy in letting the customer down. It's unfortunate this type of service is in a leadership position as it was evident his actions was setting an example for cashiers. I felt unwanted and uncomfortable shopping and paying here. I'll spend the extra 5min driving to another store after this encounter.

Just so-so. Frequently out of items I desire, but closest to home. Tonight however was the final straw: at least 7 people on a Friday night at 7pm waiting for self checkout lines to become available- this isnt Walmart, why can't they open other checkout lines? When I finally make it to checkout I required clearance for the bottle of wine I wished to purchase- I asked the employee who wasn't standing but 2 feet from me, Jill; she replied, "oh I don't do that", and walked away. She called a younger employee to the area to check my id as well as assist the 2 other lanes that were already flashing. I'm sorry, you don't do what? READ? MATH? Work as a team? No explanation from Jill. It's only a state law to verify age for alcohol purchases, no special skills required. The 20 year old at the liquor store next door checks ids just fine, I'll be more than happy to provide them or HEB with my patronage from now on.

I love this store. The prices are great, the staff are friendly and it's never crowded like HEB on Bunker Hill. Pharmacy is quick & staffed by nice people. The parking lot is well-lit. This has been my go-to grocery store for 20 years and will continue to be.

this store is terrible. most of the staff do not want to help, the specials / promotions often require customer to buy 5 of a particular item, the layout s terrible , parking is poorly configured, and forget the self check out : it's the worst ( broken machines, inadequate staffing). Forget this place -- go to fiesta down the street

The cleanest part of this store is the area around the rat traps they have at the front of the building. There is trash all over the floor, opened product containers on the shelves, that is if you can find the product on the shelf. I have had to return milk and meat products several times because they have turned bad before the sell-by date listed on the product. At one time there were five people in line with me all returning milk products that had turned. The bathrooms are a mess, the floors wet with lord knows what and toilet paper all over the floor. The employees have no idea how to speak with customers. For example, on one occasion when the self-service lane was not working, I had worked my way up to my turn only to find out it was not taking cash. I asked why didn't they have a sign posted " credit card only", and was told they did have a sign however, the manager made them take it down because it looked "Ghetto". After picking up a prescription I had to circle the building and the back receiving area was a total mess. No kidding, rats, and muck everywhere broken pallets, broken shelving, and trash is thrown every which way. There is no wonder the inside of the store is a mess, the food has to come in through this trash dump. The piles are at least 6 feet tall in spots. I want to stress this is not because of the model, this has been an ongoing issue for multiple years. When shopping in the evening they don't have any cashiers, only self-service and if you have a large number of groceries, disabled people cannot check out. The customers should not have to hunt down a manager to obtain help. As an added bonus when you enter the Kroger foyer there is an area designated for COVID prevention, which would be great but most of the supplies are either nonexistent or scattered over the floor. The used towels are left on the floor as the trash can is generally overflowing. To my way of thinking it defeats the purpose of sanitizing when the products are empty or thrown all over the floor. There is an obvious lack of pride in this Kroger. No wonder HEB is taking over the market.

Not to be confused with Frogger which was a popular computer game back in the day. This is a cute little Kroger, and is a lot more fancy than I expected it to be, and almost feels brand new. It's located on the border of a lot of rich neighbourhoods, and also a lot of poor and Latin neighborhoods, so it has a mixture of clienteles, and while it doesn't have as much stuff as the one by our house, it's still pretty nice and not too bad. They also have a gas station here with pretty cheap gas as well. Roger told me to come to this location, I was like, K Roger. This is the Kroger on Wirt, and it's nice and well kept, but a little bit claustrophobic with skinny little isles (maybe they've been dieting), and people getting in my way (bienvenido a Houston), but generally they have what I need, and it's a pretty good location. The parking lot can be a bit of a nightmare of course, especially on the Wirt side, so that's why I dropped it from 4 to 3, but isn't that the case with most of these stores? It was definitely nicer than I expected it to be.

On our store visit early afternoon on Monday Oct 13th, at the Wirt location in Houston, when we were at the register with NO SACKERS to sack our groceries. All the sackers were out getting baskets. My elderly mother asked the in plain sight managers that were hanging out at the self serve registers , "Do y'all have any sackers" , only to be ignored by the stocking manager and another floor manager so they can go smoke their cigarettes rather than help a customer's request.

My elderly mother asked the in plain sight managers that were hanging out at the self serve registers , "Do y'all have any sackers" , only to be ignored by the stocking manager and another floor manager so they can go smoke their cigarettes rather than help a customer's request. When we got home, my mother placed a call to the Store Manager and spoke to Vanessa who wasn't of any help at all and did not give any assurance of a corrective action or plan. This location has been at its worst in customer service, in stocking and most importantly in its Management and the upkeep of the store. We are hopeful for improvements. As a small Latina business owner who shops here frequently, I know that CUSTOMER SERVICE is a MUST to stay successful, sadly this location and staff don't share that mind set.
