Lakewood Forest Center is a small strip mall in North Houston with character, nestled between Cypress and tumble. It is a shopping center with literally everything needed in one spot, including eateries, shopping, a comic bookstore, a gym, a post office, a tavern, a record shop, a tanning salon, and other services like Domino's Pizza, McDonald's, and KFC. Highlights include Dragon's Lair, an amazing little comic book shop. It is a safe place to gather with friends and play, offering private rooms for games like DND, other role-playing games, and card games. They host fun Pokémon nights and group discoveries of new games, sometimes with the game creators giving out free samples and cards. The shop has a gaming area with plenty of tables for tabletop gaming and wargaming, and it offers food, drinks, and merchandise. They sometimes provide free comics. The record shop offers vintage vinyl and new releases, often with free items at the door. The center has rejuvenated with new spots like BB's Cafe, El Palenque, and Top Table Cavern, alongside established stores. It is a place where larger groups can have more fun, and people often find something to do while exploring.

The larger the group, the more fun you have. I enjoyed it. You can bring your own games or you can get games from them. They also have food and drinks.

All kinds of things at this shopping center. We love First Watch, Dragon’s Lair, El Palenque, they even have the cleanest Dollar Tree store you’ll ever want to visit.
