La-Z Boy Funiture Galleries15905 Katy FreewayBUYERS BEWARE: We (Tine K. and Venuto) purchased a La-Boy recliner on 11/22/23 from Robin Monnat, Sales. They didn't have that recline at the store, so MSS Monnat arranged to deliver it from a different store. Robin, with sales, stated the recliner would be delivered on Saturday. This recliner was delivered the day prior (Friday, 12/1/23) while we were at work; a note was left on our front door. Tina K. called ROBIN MONNAT, and she was highly unprofessional and blamed Tina, the buyer, for the mistake. Tina called back, and ROBIN MONNAT hung up. Tina called back and spoke to a different sales employee; they stated the recliner showed a delivery date of Friday, not Saturday. ROBIN MONNAT didn't want to own her mistake. We called the manager, and he showed no respect or concern. We canceled the order. BUYERS BEWARE: The bottom line is that this LA-Z BOY has no professionalism or integrity. BUYERS BEWARE

By lazy boy chair broke. I have been trying to get to customer service for three days. No one responds to my call. I am now sitting at a broken La-Z-Boy and I am not happy.

Drove 60+ miles to pick up my recliners, some paper SNAFU and the folks cannot even try to get my chairs. Can't set up the free delivery for almost 3 weeks out due to scheduling conflicts since they only come my direction once a week. Made a second appointment to pick up. Called ahead to confirm they had paperwork. Confirmed. Get there, kid spends 20 minutes and starts giving me "I don't think they pulled it" mess. People are either poorly organized or do not care for customer service. In either case, probably the last time I will purchase from Lazyboy.

Do not shop at this store. Poor customer service. I purchased a sofa and rug. They delivered the sofa after about 6 months. Much longer than they indicated. Did not deliver rug so I requested a refund. Calls to the store have not been returned.

Poor Quality and Poor Service La-Z-Boy We've been La-Z-Boy customers for many years, but we'll never buy anything else from them. September 26, 2017 we received the pair of custom-made power recliners we ordered from La-Z-Boy, both with a three-year extended warranty in the amount of $335. Within a few months, we called for service; the La-Z-Boy representative came to our house, took photos, and documented the issue of noticeable fabric wear and discoloration on one of the chairs. La-Z-Boy refused to offer any sort of remedy. The extended warranty is a scam! Some of the buttons on the handheld controller that adjusts the leg rest, back, head and lumbar support stopped working. Recently it has completely failed, making the chair unusable. We called La-Z-Boy for service, spoke to a very rude Robin Johnson and were told there was a fee of $150 to pick up and delivery of the chair and a repair fee of $150 per hour. We paid $1549.00 plus tax for a chair that is 3 years old. Now it is trash! WE WILL NEVER BUY FROM LAZ-Y-BOY AGAIN! Don't waste your money!! Judy S.

My wife went into the Laz-y-Boy Allen, Texas store on Friday, March 5th, as we were looking for new recliners for our family room. We wore our clear plastic face shield masks, masks we have worn in countless stores and businesses for over 9 months. An employee approached us and asked if we needed a mask, saying he had extras. I said "no thanks" and told him our face shield, covering our eyes, nose and mouth was our mask, to which he replied, I'll have to ask you to leave. We left immediately and went to Stacy's Furniture where we found a recliner we liked, as we walked into to Stacy's, an employee remarked, cheerfully, how she liked our clear face shields.

Carl, the salesmen, handled the sale. Did OK. Overstated timing of delivery by a lot and was fairly curt/short with me during follow-ups given delivery dates were almost twice what was quoted. Putting that aside, the almost $4k recliner with upgraded leather was delivered and clearly there were several manufacturing defects. The store hands off all issues to La-Z-Boy corporate...which is a bad thing. They finally sent a technician to our home to inspect the recliner. He generated a report outlining all the defects (e.g. the legs are not the same length, exposed wiring, cushions with stitching exposed and hanging loose, the back of the recliner was lopsided). After all of the and several weeks later the conclusion was they would take the recliner back to correct it and take another 6-8 weeks...note they were fully paid months before this. To this day they are not returning my calls to schedule the pickup and correct the defects. This is not a reputable company...look up the Better Business Bureau and other reviews.

We have been Lazy Boy customers for years! If you shop Lazy Boy do not shop the Webster Store. We moved to Texas in Oct 2020 and ordered our furniture from the Webster Tx store on Aug 7th. The furniture was paid in full. We were told it would be 10 to 12 weeks. After repeated calls to the Store's office manager and being put off with responses of, I will call you back which she did not, or it is not showing as shipped or finally we expect it to be in mid Nov, really 16 weeks now. It became obvious this was the standard practice with this store, a policy to put off and not address customers concerns. They might try being honest with their customers. It was Nov 28th when just the couch arrived. We were never told it would be just the couch, again no honesty. So back to square 1 with the 2 recliners we ordered. We were now told they will be in, mid-Dec, mid Dec comes and goes, we call only to be told again I will check on this and call you back. Of course, no call back. Note a store is ran with the management style of the store manager, the office lady was following her managers protocol. The recliners were shipped Dec 11, this was told to us on Dec 19th after we called AGAIN. The recliners arrived Dec 29th. 21 weeks! We are appalled at this whole situation. This manager has no ethical standards, to tell his customers what they are dealing with; stop the retail games. Outlandish customer services. I hope this manager is spoken too. We sent Corp a letter as well. With all that this economy has been hit with, I can assume sales are down, yet you treat your customers with appalling dishonesty by omission. Thoroughly Disgusted
