Avoid This Company at All Costs!
I deeply regret booking this service not once, but twice. My first experience on Saturday, 2.8.25, wasn’t terrible, though I had to pay for additional hours due to the movers being slow, even with three men working. Despite this, I booked them again for my move the following Saturday to move the rest of my belongings. Unfortunately, this time it turned into an absolute nightmare.
My move was scheduled between 9 AM and 11 AM. The three movers I had the prior weekend showed up, but something was wrong with the truck. I spoke with the supervisor, Chris, who assured me that the movers would be back in a couple of hours. However, two random movers showed up at 12:25 PM instead of the three that were agreed upon. When I asked where the others went, I was told they had gone home. When I called Chris to inquire, he had the nerve to act like he was doing me a favor by taking $20 off per hour.
Tanya called me at 12:39 PM, after the movers had already started, and suggested they could send movers the next day even though I had made it clear multiple times that I needed to be out of my apartment by 2.15.25 PM because my lease was up.
The entire experience was filled with unprofessionalism, dishonesty, and unreliable service. When you prepay for a service, you expect accountability, but this company falls far short. They even forced me to pay additional fees through Zelle to a random business, which felt incredibly shady.
To make matters worse, Tanya and Chris were deceitful throughout the entire process, showing no regard for customer satisfaction or the care of my property. I had items broken and missing after the move, which is completely unacceptable.
I paid a total of $1,074 for a simple 2-bedroom, 2-bath move just 25 minutes away, and I didn’t get what I paid for. After my experience, I no longer believe the 5-star reviews. Take your time and read the experiences of those with 1-star reviews as they are far more accurate to what you’ll likely experience. Save yourself the trouble and find a reliable company that actually values your time and belongings. Do NOT book with them.

Local movings has just denied my claim due to the fact that I had two additional people helping me. They forced me to sign a waiver 45 minutes AFTER MY PEOPLE STARTED HELPING!! The movers ADMITTED TO DAMAGING MY PROPERTY (COUCH, MY DAUGHTER'S BED, AND STOLE HER BIKE). A bunch of freaking crooks. How dare you charge AS MUCH AS YOU DO AND TREAT CONSUMERS THIS WAY!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM AT ALL!! BUYERS BEWARE, THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS ARE SCAMMERS!!! I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE OUTCOME!!! I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN!!!! HEARTLESS, MONEY HUNGRY THIEVES!!!!! WORST COMPANY EVER!!!! DISGUSTING!!!

Took really good care of the things. The crew very respectful and friendly. Be aware they like to take their time and extended more than a reasonable frame.

I used this company previously on August 31, 2024, and was told a manager would contact me in regard to my refrigerator being left at the old address and making a second trip to pick it up. The drivers also stopped at a gas station to get snacks. I should be compensated for that mishap and time getting snacks by refunding part of this bill. A move that should have only taken 2-3 hours took almost nine, and they ran up a $967 dollar bill. I was told by the movers supervisor that he couldn't do anything because his manager was out and would contact me at a later date. Two weeks later, I still hadn't received a call. I personally transferred smaller items in my own vehicle three days prior so the movers wouldn't have to. There were only larger items in the home, TVs, Washer/Dryer/ Bedroom Sets etc......... Someone needs to rectify this issue in some way immediately. 10/8/2024 I have still not received a call back an contacted Claudia today, whom by the way, was clueless and said I needed to speak with Tanya. Tanya who she states won't be in the office until Monday. You are also lying about travel time being an hour 30 min when your crew followed me after stopping at the gas station for snacks. It took 30 min going, and they left me on the way back to get the refrigerator and made it to the old residence before I did. This form you speak of I never received and advised Tanya when I set this up what I needed taken out. I was told you record phone calls go listen to mine and then respond. You people are running a scam. I moved 20 boxes on my own in several trips before you people came to purposely leave the bigger items. No way you people should have taken nine hours. The movers were slow ass hell on purpose.

Milton, Gabriel & Chris delivered exceptional service. They worked very well together and were very friendly. They have an efficient system that kept my move to 2.5 hours! I will be recommending them to my friends and my apartment manager.

I wonder how some folks give them good reviews and they were completely unprofessional super rude not on time they were late three hours and we were rushed and we need to save each minute and they had zero care and giving us an attitude my advice to any serious movers absolutely don’t hire them.
