I felt like the experience was average to below average. The hostess was not particularly friendly and upon arrival asked us if we would like to order off of the happy hour menu. I had made a standard dinner reservation. I didn't even realize they had happy hour. So I said sure we'll take a menu at which time she then said well I don't have any indoor seating. All I have is exterior seating. I was looking at a completely empty restaurant when she said this it took me a minute to figure out that basically they wouldn't let you sit inside if you wanted to order off of the happy hour menu once I had it figured out I simply said OK so I don't guess I want the happy hour menu considering I made just a typical reservation now do you have indoor seating? To which she said yeah. Once we got seated, the server was nice. However he disappeared mid meal and we never saw him again the manager did seem to pick up for him, even though I got my dinner drink once my dinner was essentially finished. The food was average and of course priced high. We will not return.

I booked a quick birthday lunch here and loved every minute of it. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious! I highly recommend and cannot wait to go back.

The gumbo is good, seafood is ok, but management is terrible. They exhibit repeated passive-aggressive behavior patterns, silent treatment, gaslighting behaviors. Management seems to be a team of bullies.

I just want to say I’m thoroughly impressed with the service here. I had an impromptu birthday celebration here and McKenzy and the manager on duty On Oct 25 were amazing. This was 4678the 787 best experience I had with a restaurant in years. I applaud them for taking such great care of us and making sure that my birthday was one to remember. Thank you to the staff and especially McKenzy. She was AMAZING!

I had such a wonderful time! I booked a table in advance for just one person, and I went during happy hour. I snagged a lobster roll for $25, which is way cheaper than the usual $40. Plus, I got 24 of their fresh Gulf oysters. They have a special on oysters for $1.50 during happy hour, and they were absolutely delicious! They were just the right size—large to medium. They were super clean, and I also had one of their Halloween drinks, which was equally tasty. It was the bewitched, and I would give it a 10 out of 10!

It is hard to understand why this restaurant is so popular. The service is perfunctory, at best. Our party of 3 had good Raw Oysters and 2 of the 3 entrees were excellent. The Lump Crab Salad, however, was tasteless. That, combined with the $10 + tip charge for Valet Parking will take Loch Bar off of our preferred list. The restaurant was loud to begin with, but when the live music began, conversation became virtually impossible.
