I’m urgently searching for a white dress for a special occasion. Before sharing this, I want to say I debated posting for hours—I don’t like leaving 1-star reviews. But kindness and basic hospitality go a long way, especially in a boutique setting.
When I visited on 6/24, there was one woman working the floor—the older African American woman. From the moment I walked in, she kept glancing at me in a way that felt rude and unwelcoming. She never greeted or acknowledged me. It wasn’t until I saw a dress I was interested in and noticed her walking past that I called out to her. When I asked about the dress on the mannequin, she looked me up and down and flatly said, “No.” No explanation, no assistance—just coldness.
She did eventually show me one dress, but it clearly wasn’t my body type. Before she could say anything, I felt the need to point that out myself—almost like I had to put myself down first to avoid being judged. That alone made me feel small.
Later, when I had two dresses to try on, she abruptly told me to follow her with a tone that felt sharp and impatient. At that point, I felt so uncomfortable I left before even trying anything on—just to avoid more of that energy.
There was another woman at the register helping a customer, but I never interacted with her. My experience was solely with the woman on the floor, and unfortunately, it left me feeling unwelcome and disrespected.
You don’t have to be overly warm to provide decent customer service, but making people feel judged or like they don’t belong isn’t okay. Sadly, that’s how I felt during my visit.
Pls do better with kindness and customer service or take your breaks if need be

Big store, great options, always good clearance. Staff has always been polite and welcoming. The changing rooms are spacious and private.

I love coming to this Loft location when I'm in town on business. The staff is always so sweet and courteous. Jasmine is super helpful and attentive. Excellent customer service. Thank you for such a pleasant shopping experience!

I had such a wonderful shopping experience at this Loft location, in large part due to the excellent customer service provided by Ayat. She was exceptionally kind and helpful as I was picking up a recent online purchase. I am grateful for the time she devoted to making my shopping experience so pleasant!

This place has a variety of sizes from small to XXL, 0-16. Most of the other locations have limited sizing. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable.

Wow, the guy Jason was so funny and engaging. He ran back and forth at least 10 times, to get my room started and getting me the right sizes. He checked on me and made me feel like I was a celebrity or something. If you go in, ask for Jason, because he will make sure that you're treated like Royalty. All smiles through the entire visit!
