I can't say enough how much LSS helped us in our move to Texas. We moved to Houston earlier this year and bought a pretty but poorly maintained stucco home in a fancy neighborhood. We had no idea about how hard the local climate is on Stucco. LSS helped us totally understand the problems we would face, quantify the needs and ultimately guided us to the right partner to fix it. I really felt they were our advocate through the entire process. Six months later our only concern is that we keep the newly renovated exterior in top shape. I'm a passionate advocate for the collaboration they gave us! Thanks guys.

I’ve learned that the quality of stucco consultants and contractors are all over the map. Greg and Lone Star Stucco are heads and shoulders above anyone else. Greg seems to have a PhD in stucco, he knows everything that is right or wrong with any situation. Highly recommended.

Stucco inspectionPart of painting and maintaining the house in tip shop shape is often daunting and expensive. I’ve noticed some houses having repairs for weeks around the neighborhood which in my mind was a costly nightmare I did not wish for. The whole idea of having someone drill tiny holes in the stucco throughout the house freaked me out. The job was done superbly by Lone Star Stucco & Stone they showed up when agreed, finished when expected and came back to check repairs done well and highly professional throughout the job. The report was extremely detailed about 50 or so pages. They explained some questions we had and sent our report to 5 or so reputable contractors. We also sent to another well known company. There were some unexpected areas that needed work and grateful this is now all behind us. Utilized Stillo Construction and job was superb as well. We will plan on having routine inspections in the future as part of maintenance.

Zero integrity! James/Gregg doesn’t calibrate his instruments before or during the inspection process. When I asked him for the calibration records, calibration process, serials numbers of equipment used he immediately became defensive and then started attacking my character as a concerned homeowner. He stated that he was “annoyed that I left a voicemail for his wife”, when I left a voicemail from the office number that’s on Google and on his inspection report. I wish I could attach the email chain from this guy.

We recently purchased a home and worked with Lone Star Stucco for our stucco inspection. They were responsive, helpful and went out of their way to make this process as easy as possible. If you can request Marcus specifically, he walked us through the whole house and all the issues on the day of the inspection, and even spent time with us reviewing the repair quotes and selecting a contractor. He really made us feel at ease during this transition to a new house with more issues than we were expecting.If you are buying a home and can get an intrusive inspection done during your option period - definitely get Lone Star Stucco out there ASAP. They had appointments available the next day, and sent the report out to 4 trusted contractors for bids within 48 hours of the inspection. We received detailed estimates within the week. I wish we had them do our inspection during our option period so we knew how much the repairs would cost.I plan on calling them every 3-4 years to keep up the inspections and maintain our home. I cannot state enough how helpful Marcus and Angela were throughout this process. This is not a paid review, I was just so happy and thankful for their help.

Lone Star Stucco is an outstanding resource for stucco inspections. Gregg Morgan works diligently to find any areas of water vulnerability and he communicates the issues clearly to my buyer and seller clients. Angela and Gregg also provide a service which they will request estimates from three or four stucco repair companies. This goes a long way in a short option period to quickly determine the cost of repairs and maintenance to the homeowner. Highly recommend!

Lone Star Stucco inspected for my neighbor and got a rave review. I therefore hired them. I ditto the rave review. Gregg did meticulous, professional and careful work, and found issues a previous inspector had missed. His report was quite prompt, detailed and clear. Gregg showed great integrity and honor in the way he presented his work and avoided pushing us to a single " pet contractor" for the remediation. The price for the work was also quite reasonable. 5 stars.

Gregg has been great to work with. He did our home stucco inspection before we bought the house and was able to help us identify some major issues. Gregg was thorough with his diagrams, provided helpful advice and even checked back much later to make sure the repair was done right.Just recently, he happened to be in my neighborhood and saw some work being done and without hesitation he came over without being asked and offered his expertise to make sure the job was done right. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing a stucco inspection!

Gregg did an excellent job for me on my new house. I know nothing about Stucco and Greg did my stucco inspection on the new build that I purchased. He did a thorough inspection and took me through it. Then he did multiple revisits to make sure the builder completed the actions. He kept me and my realtor informed every step of the way. He is going to come back in 10 months before the warranty expires to check for any signs of moisture so I can claim this against the warranty if there are any problems. He’s even helping me seal up the new doorbell I’ve installed. Greg is a top class professional and customer service is high on his list of priorities
