Wanted try my interest in cigars. The guy that helped me, an older gentleman set me up with what I needed to start up. Picked out a couple quality cigars to try. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Also very friendly. Told him I guess I'll have another habit to go with my whiskey habit. Checked me out and told me "see ya next week". ? Well, I'm waiting for them to open to get more cigars. He was right!

The guy that runs this place is not an honest man. Beware of ever doing work for him. He had me do some work for him and then he went out of town after I was honest enough to show him where he can get the part a whole lot cheaper. Tells me when he gets back from town. He’ll call me to install it since I already did a bunch of work on the door and was honest with him. Instead, he never calls me he just has his employee put it on and I get screwed out of everything. All my labor fixing that door so that part would be easy to install for free. Well stolen but you know..

The humidor here is great! There is a wide selection of cigar makers, sizes, and wrappers. The staff is always helpful and friendly. Lone Star is the best cigar shop in the northwest side of the Houston area. They also have a nice selection of tobacco pipes and tobacco.

My go to location for cigars. They always have an amazing selection. The humidor is stuffed to the brim with an astonishing selection of cigars. All the major brands plus many boutique factories can be found here.The gentlemen are always helpful and insightful. The prices are very competitive, and you will always be tempted to walk out with a handful of cigars.They have a constant flow of business, which pays tribute to the great operation they run. If you are in the area, I highly recommend you to give them a try!

Great Shop and great members lounge. Not sure why someone would take the time to complain about a members lounge when there is plenty of space the owner made outside. Some people (Karen) you just can’t please. Best cigar selection in all of Houston.

Amazing selection of Cigars, and various other tobacco products. Clean store and friendly staff. Felt like a kid in a candy shop, and I swear I spent 10 minutes just staring and taking it all in. I popped in right before close to grab a couple cigars when I got into town. The fellas were good sports about it (I would have found it annoying to have someone come in 5 min to close but did it to check the place out.)I came back a couple days later when I could spend some more time perusing the cigar selection which was massive. One of the gents was kind enough to let me pick his brain for some recommendations based off of my preferences and they were all excellent.This is the first tobacconist I found in Houston and will be the only one I’ll need when I’m in town. Thanks Gents, you’ve got a world class establishment.

I'm in Houston for the weekend and stopped in at Lone Star. I got to meet owner Forbes Henderson. It is a great shop with a very nice cigar selection, a comfortable smoke Lounge, and a good selection of pipes. I pick up a beautiful vintage L'Anatra pipe
