Jocelyn was our dance instructor and she did such an amazing job! Neither me nor my fiance had any idea what we were gonna do for our dance and she choreographed and taught us so well. She also did the same for my fiance and his mom. I highly recommend her! She is so kind and a great teacher

Don’t do it. I had an event here on 2/1 for my mom’s birthday. Nothing was setup on time. They were still washing linens ten minutes before the event. The food was late and not at all what we discussed. I arrived 2 hrs before the event and NOTHINg was done. They were still cleaning up from the night before. I sent an email to the owner after the event and never got a response. I never got an apology. Nothing. If I had the time I would take them to court. And unfortunately that’s how these people get away with this stuff.

Took solo lessons before our wedding. Jocelyn was so helpful and encouraging. She has a ton of experience, and knows exactly how to teach and to help you no matter your skill level. We had a great time, and each lesson felt like we were learning and growing.

We did four lessons with Jocelyn and WOW. She went above and beyond to personalize the dance with the lyrics in the song despite us giving her the challenge of fusing one Arab song and one western song. The dance came out amazing and everyone loved it. Would highly highly recommend!

5 stars for dance classes and another 5 for this space as a party venue! I came across Love Dance HTX years ago and have enjoyed both western and sala dance lessons since then. Lisa the owner is so kind and fun and patient with those who may not have natural rhythm :) I also recently had my 30th birthday party at Love Dance HTX and the space made for the perfect venue; great sized dance floor, perfect tables already there + convenient spots for bar tender and dj to post up, it was ideal!

My fiancé and I did our 1.5 hour wedding dance class today and Lisa was so great and fun to work with!! I didn’t have much expectation going into it because truthfully, we’ve never danced together and we’re pretty uncoordinated people at baseline. But Lisa was so comfortable to work with and she made us feel so at ease and relaxed while having fun on a Monday! Highly recommend for couples of all levels, especially amateurs like us ?

Our 1.5 Hours with Jocelyn was fantastic. No previous dance experience and we were able to learn the basics for entertaining and acceptable first dance on our wedding. Worth the money, even if my hips are a bit sore.Thanks again!

Leading up to our wedding, one of the few things that gave us anxiety was the thought of our first dance. I am so glad we had Love Dance HTX usher us through it. Our instructor, Alex, made the learning process so easy, and by the time of our wedding, we were confident that we would crush it. And we did. Both my dance with my husband and my dance with my dad were perfect, all thanks to Alex and Lisa. Thank you all!

If you're on the fence - DO THIS! It ended up being one of my favorite wedding activities. Whether you're looking for a quick lesson on the basics, or a full on choreographed dance, this is where you need to be. I took a one hour lesson with my dad and another with my fiance and both were so much fun. We laughed so much and had a blast! None of us really know how to dance at all and after just the one hour with Alex, we are all looking forward to the dances! We saw a few other couples with much more advanced choreography practicing their dance and they looked awesome. Scheduling was super easy via email with Lisa. Absolutely loved this and will be checking for other classes we can take for fun!

The owner Lisa is SO RUDE. There are plenty of places to go to take dancing lessons. Go to another one, because Lisa will treat you horribly.

Unfortunately we will not have the opportunity to experience a lesson with this studio. Communication has been a hassle, even once a deposit was sent. Two emails to confirm our planned activity, both times read, and no follow up. If there’s lack of customer service from the start, there is zero trust or further value placed on the business. Unbelievably disappointing.

Bethany is amazing! She makes it fun and easy to learn even the basics. I've always been shy when it comes to being on the dance floor, but she makes it enjoyable and brings everyone together. She's sweet, funny and really lights up the room, and of course, she's an amazing dancer! She makes it look too easy!! Love that I had the opportunity to meet and learn from her. Thank you, Bethany!! My now husband and I knew we wanted to have a grand entrance and make a lasting impression on our guests for our wedding day. When we found Love Dance HTX, we had such a fun experience learning a custom crafted dance just for us- we picked The Way You Look Tonight by Frank Sinantra! We took 4 classes with Lisa and it felt like we were going on a date night! They let us bring alcohol (we would bring wine) and dance for an hour per lesson! Lisa would record our sessions so we could remember what we learned and practice from home as well! Leading up to our wedding, she even let us practice at Love Dance HTX so we would have more space! Absolutely loved this experience. On our wedding day, our guests loved our elegant and graceful first dance!
