Wanted to start mounting some of my orchid plants, I was looking for some Cypress wood, browsing the internet, I came across Mason Mill and Lumber, who happen to have samples of Cypress wood. I ordered a piece and Carla, their inside sales person kept me informed as to when she was mailing it out, as well as a tracking label. Their sample is a nice size and has the groves that is needed for the plant to attach.
Very happy with their product and excellent customer service, will definitely be buying from them again.

I’ve only done a few small home projects but they were extremely helpful as a first time customer. Best experience I have had at any lumber store in the Houston area by far and I will definitely be back.

We been workin with Mason's Mill for the last 15 years and they're top notch. I build custom homes all through the Texas Hill Country (Housto, Austin, San Marcos, and Buda, TX at the moment) and their custom hardwoods are ALWAYS part of my projects. Every single custom moulding without question. We’ve done custom staircases, cabinets, decks, floors, ceilings, countertops, if it’s wood, you name it, we’ve done it. Now that they have thermory I rarely use anyone else - stuff is incredible and lasts forever. And right now the custom paneling and “slatwall” craze, we have been ordering weekly. MML lets us make homes look incredible and us look incredible in return.
The team up there are like family now. Have not let me down once and make sure I get what I need when I need it - WITH FREE HAND DELIVERY!!. Was just in a pinch on a home out near Austin, TX and they hand delivered a $120 order to the job site for FREE the same day all the way from Houston!! And not cause I’m a loyal customer, because they are the only one in the state of Texas I have seen that does this. They're on point with deliveries and their timing is always spot on. Always deliver without fail and I am grateful to have em.
Any fellow contractors out there, these guys are the go-to, full stop, hands down, and you can message me personally if you need someone to vouch and I will do so happily.
Mason and his crew have made a huge difference for my business. Been a solid 15 years, and will be an easy 15 more if they keep up the quality and service. Their the best in the business, hands down - 100/10!!

Good price, decent quality material and wide selection. However they seem annoyed if you are just getting a small order, and they insist on asking you to open an account. If they dont want to deal with small orders, well, thats what minimums are for. Other than that I can recommened checking it out.

I love the specialty/exotic wood selection here. And I'll never buy plywood from a big box store again. It's better quality and better priced here. BUT, they really need to work on the warehouse crew. You won't be approached, nobody will ask you if they can help, they don't explain the process, and nobody speaks fluent enough English; if you don't speak Spanish well, you're kinda on your own until the supervisor steps in, and that's even kinda spotty. I hope to see the warehouse process improve to the manner the sales office has.

Very nice selection of domestic and exotic lumber. Very helpful if you have questions. Go see them, much better than big box store or traditional lumber yard.

Always staffed with good knowledgeable staff. Seems to be well stocked in the majority of their inventory and they have quality. Great staff at the pro desk. I've ordered several truck load deliveries and have not been disappointed. They are highly skilled and very professional.

I had the best experience working with Mason's. I called numerous other lumber yards. They were not as helpful and wasn't willing to locate what I needed. At Mason's I worked with Rane and Javier. Both were amazing at their jobs. Very very patient. Answered all my questions. Javier walked the entire warehouse with me to find the specific piece I wanted. Milled, cut to specific size, and Javier loaded/strapped down the piece in my SUV. Highly recommend Mason's.
