Clean, well-maintained facility. 2 pools, both heated. outdoor is kept at 77 or so, indoor is kept at 87.Lots of free weights, weight machines, a few rowing machines, lots of treads and step climbers, spin cycles, a gym with bell weights, medicine balls, one half-court hoop. 1 racquetball court, 1 outdoor pickleball court. Classes for spinning, yoga, low-impact stretching, Zumba, etc. Personal trainers, dietician & Parisi add-ons. Great friendly staff always available. Mix of old & young ages. Gender ratio is about 60:40 M/F in weight area, reversed in yoga/stretch & swim aerobics classes.Ladies have their own separate facility for specific exercise classes & ballet.Handy app for scheduling, news, fitness & nutrition tracking, etc.

Love the family-oriented atmosphere, so many group excercise classes to choose from, nice and clean facility. Reasonable price!My previous review is still valid. However there are some issues that become annoying to me lately. First off the ice machine has been not working for about a month. Not sure what's the deal is and why it has not been fixed! Sure there are drinking water fountains around but I love that ice/cold water machine, please fix it !And today just found out the jacuzzi/hot tub not working, argggghhhh ?!

Staff is so friendly and I love the pool. Hot tub and sauna are very relaxing. Better than lifetime fitness!

MAC is the only destination we were planning to enroll our kid at the energy corridor. Wide pool with very qualified coaches. Clean and well maintained pool (climate controlled), hygienic restrooms and big changing rooms.Coach Mandy, Jim, Stephanie, Anne Baron, Elizabeth everyone we worked with was amazing. Looking forward to more classes!! Highly recommend?

Love the MAC!! Been coming here for 7 years and it feels like home. Clean, updated equipment, and friendly staff. Definitely recommend this facility if you’re looking for a family friendly environment.

I love this place! The instructors are very knowledgeable and do lots of continuing education.The gym is clean and the equipment is well maintained.If you're currently working out at one of the big chains but don't like it, this is place the place for you. People aren't busy posing for selfies instead of working out. They're working out. Hard.Bonus: you can try it for free, just ask at the desk. :)

As a disabled veteran, and I first came to MAC I because my disability had kept me from getting around very much at all. I signed up for personal trainer and signed up with Jeff about 1998 I think it was and told Jeff he needed to get me ready to use crutches because I didn't have the strength to use them since I was having a knee replacement. Jeff worked with me and encouraged me and I have had other disability issues some of which prevented me from going to the gym for periods of time. But everybody there has been exceptionally helpful, thoughtful and will go out of their way to answer questions and provide assistance. I have currently returned after being out for almost 2 years because of back issues and everybody is welcoming and encouraging and boosting my spirits with their comments. I am 77 years old, I don't expect to get ripped or develop a six pack but I get around pretty good considering my artificial joints and now my ongoing back fusion. I am thankful not only to the staff and the trainers, but also to the other patrons who I look forward to seeing every time I go to the gym. Check it out for yourself.

The MAC is a true gem of west Houston. Friendly staff, lots of family programs, and tons of great equipment. New treadmills and literally every strength training machine you could want. I love that I can come here and not feel overwhelmed (like I usually feel at chains like 24hour and LA fitness). It’s a peaceful atmosphere with truly lovely people who care about your experience and health.
