Menil Park is a peaceful and beautiful outdoor space near the Menil Collection and Rothko Chapel. It features many mature trees, including a large live oak that provides shade. The park is open 24/7 and free to the public, making it ideal for walking, relaxing, picnics, or outdoor activities. Visitors enjoy its quiet atmosphere, perfect for meditation, lounging in the sun, or spending time with dogs on a leash. The park has ample field space for dogs to play and is suitable for gatherings and outdoor events. With its serene environment and lovely surroundings, Menil Park has been a favorite spot for many, offering a calm place to relax and enjoy nature.
Beautiful park outside of the Menil collection gallery. People were doing yoga in the park, painting and picnic. It was not crowded and highly recommend. It was humid during the afternoon.
