Pros: Price was good. Location was great for NRG events. Front desk was friendly. Truck was still there in the morning.Cons: Roaches in the rooms!Toilet would not flush. We were unable to use it. Smoke smell was overwhelming. So was the odor of weed coming in from outside throughout the night. Would not recommend for families

I was here for work on a temporary basis and just needed something quickly and close to the medical center. The prices were reasonable and it was not far from my job at all. I set up everything and got my room. The amenities that they promise were not given. I would ask for service to have my room cleaned and nothing would happen. So I asked what was the policy and I was told that basically you clean your own room and change your own linen. The young lady Mavi was extremely rude I mean to the point of I did not understand how she had a job. I honestly started to call the cops on her. I mean it would seem from the employees I had seen that this was family owned so no consequences would be upon her. I mean she was so rude and disrespectful it was ridiculous like wow. Mavi needs to be in the back of the motel and not dealing with customers. Then they had a stray dog in the lobby growling at people. That is so unsanitary.

My boyfriend and I are here due to an emergency, and we've spent the entire night dealing with roaches. The two women at the front desk are unhelpful and rude, likely burnt out from working in such a place. The room is in terrible condition with giant holes in the walls, no ventilation, and no phone. It's truly a rock-bottom place that I strongly recommend avoiding if possible.Rooms: In the less than 10 hours we have been here we have killed at least 10 roaches.

Currently, the place is incredibly unsanitary with roaches everywhere. There's a significant hole under the sink, likely where the roaches are coming from. No phone in the room, and the front desk ladies are rude. Overall, it's advisable to avoid staying here and look for alternative accommodations. A suggestion for the staff: consider investing in a cost-effective UV machine for some rooms at different times to address the roach and mold issues.

Filthy and worse hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Faucet on tub fell off after each use, homeless man in stair area, heating unit had mold and filth, no blankets, only 2 towels, floors were gross. Our friends room had blood on comforter and pieces of foil on floor, they refused to stay. What an embarrassment to Motel 6.

The room I rented was infested with cockroaches, had NO ventilation, and the wiring for the air conditioning and lighting were scary. I could've dealt with it IF the two female employees I had to deal with were professional. Even though I sent an email to an address that was SUPPOSED to be for the corporate office, the response didn't indicate it was so. The bottom line is that the two women chose to lie to me and tell me 'a District Manager' told them to order me to leave my room that very minute. As a 63 year-old AA female, it was no surprise that the next day, they charged me for TWO EXTRA days. I've disputed the charges with my bank. I've only told a small amount of what was done to me by these two "managers" and their supervisor. I am in talks with attorneys and pray that no one else goes thru this. To anyone reading this: KNOW the law and your rights.Rooms: I can only speak about MY experience. For those of you who are thinking,'Why didn't you ask for another room?' I did, and was denied. After I thought it over, I may have gotten a worse room. If you look at my pictures, you'll see that the cheap, flimsy tiles were NOT properly glued, and I tripped over them often. The Motel 6 commercial says they'll leave the light on for you. In my case, I'm not sure it would've helped.Safety: This Motel 6 was on the feeder road of a major freeway and had a convenience and several fast-food restaurants right across the street from it. You could tell it has not been updated in quite some time. That would probably be the reason the bathroom air vent was painted over, the door had that large gap, and the fumes from the window air-conditioning unit gave me a headache. When it got cold, I had to stick my dirty clothes or towels, in the door cracks to stay warm, especially at night. I mean, look at the crud of condensation, mold, bugs, and GOD only knows what else on that AC vent. I'm already starting to have severe foggy memory and headaches.Walkability: This location did have sidewalks, access to public transportation, and fast food restaurants.
