A very decent and clean African store. It has a lot of produce and good customer service. Is a place I will always recommend for new residents in Houston to shop at.

This is a fantastic place to be. The ambience is excellent. The proprietor and all her staff are extremely excellent.I am not shopping anywhere else anymore. Pls go and patronize them!!!

I wanted to start training my hair so I was on a thread quest. Motherland was the only store that carried this item. I wanted the real thread for hair, but they only had the one made with rubber. I also ordered Abacha with skin hide ?; delicious and spicy . Make sure you know what your spice level...lol

They need to do better the egusi soup lacked flavor and the portion is so very very small… The people are very nice but I paid $15 for Egusi in a small bowl with only fish in it no other meat I’m upset about that they could have given me more egusi even though it wasn’t good that’s ridiculous
