Beautiful store and location. The owner Dennis is genuine and very helpful. Everything in this store looks amazing and there is a good variety of pieces to choose from.

We tried the chicken sandwich and quinoa for the first time and it was so good. Highly recommend it. Their blood mary's are very tasty, love their garnishes. We sat in a great spot outside upstairs. Valerie was awesome! She was attentive with a great smile every time!

This is the best interior design store in town, by a long shot! Very classy, elegant and very eclectic. Their owner and head designer Dennis Brackeen is the creative with unlimited abilities, who can put together the pieces from different cultures, different color schemes and mixing up the vintage with modern so fabulously. The team at the store is also very helpful and very patient. This place is total class act! You will not be disappointed! P. S. They also have wide variety of European paints to work with! I love it! And color choices are so unlimited.

Thanks everyone at Moxie for the great customer service! I called in right before closing for an emergency paint order and they stayed late while I drove in from Rosenberg to mix my paint and walk me through the correct steps and tips on how to use the paint. I have shopped at Moxie for years and it has always been a good resource for cool/unstuffy antique furniture, a hidden gem in Montrose. I hadn't been in for awhile and stopped by on my lunch break the other day and was BLOWN AWAY. I don't know exactly when but the did a full overhaul of the place and I have never seen anything quite like it- at least not in Houston. Rooms upon rooms decorated at the highest level of interior design bursting with quirky unique antiques and treasures. Inspiration abounds. It is a world class resource for antiques and interiors, and I hope it does well because it's a huge asset to Houston. Do not expect the junktique deals you can get elsewhere in Montrose, this is a travel worthy destination we happen to have in our backyard.

Just had a horrible experience in this store. Manager was rude, dismissive, and could provide no knowledge about history of the item or its authenticity. Items are overpriced and staff is difficult to deal with. Would not recommend.
