I decided to look into movers about 3 months ahead of our move date. I received estimates from 3 different vendors and felt most comfortable with North American, mainly because of the communication in comparison to the other companies. Plus, I needed to set up car transportation to ship my car to Phoenix as well. Jim was who I spoke with to get everything squared away. I felt very comfortable when speaking with him. We did the home inventory tour virtually. I planned to move over Memorial weekend as school would be out and it was the perfect time to move before the busy moving season begins. We were moving from Houston to Phoenix. We had a small home (2 bed, 2 bath with half room for an office) and not a lot of furniture. Actually, we sold a ton of our furniture after receiving the initial estimate. Jim was helpful enough to adjust these items off when I asked him to. I had up until 2 weeks of my move date to ask for adjustments on our estimate (the estimate was exactly what I paid when it was all said and done). After paperwork was done, I received a email of who my move coordinator would be. Tami sent me a email telling me she would be in charge of the move. Although helpful, we didn’t communicate as much. I actually didn’t know who was going to pick up my car and when and I also wasn’t sure what time I should expect the movers. I sent her a quick email during the week we were supposed to move and she responded very quickly. Thank you for that, I just felt like I should’ve been notified a few weeks sooner for confirmation of vehicle transportation details and maybe a another email outside of the initial one to check in with me as we got closer to the move date. I seemed to have had more communication with her assistant, Jacquline, who was very nice and helpful. The actual movers were phenomenal. Tony was the lead. They arrived at my home by 9am on Friday morning. Tony led the team of 3 movers and reassured me multiple times to not stress, enjoy this transition with my family and take the time I need to get to AZ safely. He’d meet me there. Sure enough, the day I arrived to AZ (Sunday night) I received a call from Tony telling me he arrived, he asked me how I was doing and if the trip went smooth, and if he could deliver my stuff the next day (Monday - Memorial Day). I told him that would be great! Because we were moving into a smaller place, in an apartment community, Tony was not able to bring the semi with my belongings on property, so he managed to move it all into a box truck with his team of movers in AZ on Sunday night. Sure enough, the next morning (Monday - Memorial Day) there he was, at 10am! Amazing turnaround time. 3 days, are you kidding me? What an incredible experience. Tony deserves mover of the year award. I’ve moved from Denver to Houston and waited nearly 3 weeks for my belongings in the past. I also paid $2k more at that time. That was with United. The next time we move (hopefully not soon) we’ll definitely be using North American again.

We recently completed a move using North American Van Lines, and overall, it was a smooth and positive experience. The setup process was easy, and our salesperson was friendly and thorough in walking us through all the available options.
We did hit a bump on pack day when the original driver showed up. Unfortunately, he was rude, grumpy, and questioned the size of our estimate in an unprofessional manner. That experience definitely shook our confidence at first.
However, kudos to Nick and Steve, who responded quickly and professionally. After I reached out, they acted fast to find us an alternative driver — and that made all the difference.
Roberto, the second driver, was fantastic. He brought in an efficient, friendly crew that handled the packing and loading with care and speed. He was communicative, accommodating, and really helped turn the situation around.
Delivery happened right on schedule, less than a week later, and the unload team did a great job getting everything in place and reassembled.
If it weren’t for the rocky start with the first driver, this would’ve been a solid 5-star review. But thanks again to Roberto, Nick, and Steve for stepping up and making our move a success!

From the estimator to the coordinator to the mover and driver we had a smooth and enjoyable move. Our team was responsive and helpful. We had excellent local help on both end for packing, loading and unloading. I highly recommend North American Van Lines.

I would recommend North American Van-lines to anyone making a major move! Nick, Christine, Enrique, and Calvin all awesome, made my moving experience over multiple states, stress free and, move as scheduled…service didn’t disappoint! If I ever need services in the future, I know who to call! 10/10!
