In January 2024, my 28-year-old son passed away, marking the most difficult time for our family. When we sought funeral services, we naturally turned to an establishment familiar to us. Despite personal connections and previous arrangements made there, our recent experience was disheartening. Upon requesting price information, we were met with resistance and ultimately asked to leave without receiving the required General Price List. This interaction, in violation of state guidelines, left us feeling hurt and dismissed. While hesitant to address the issue initially, I recently reached out to the owner to express my concerns. Despite her apology, the response lacked acknowledgment of the broader community impact, and the accountability to make sure this does not continue to happen. I hope that addressing this incident will prompt necessary changes in their practices to ensure respectful and compliant service for all families in need.

So helpful and accommodating during a very emotionally and financially challenging time. O W Wiley Mortuary was recommended to me and my family and I will not hesitate to recommend them to anyone in need!!

Absolute worst mortuary I've ever come across. Today is our friends funeral - there's about 16 of us who have been given online access to view from out of state. The online site says "offline". Everyone has called and the woman who answered was extremely rude to everyone. We asked if it will be fixed and she said likely not today & hung up the phone. Such an incredibly rude & insensitive person that has no business working in that industry. This business should be ashamed of their staff. Highly DO NOT recommend.

Funeral home service if you not on the policy you know they really talk directly to person that name is on the policy but I did ask a question they did answer me that is kind of difficult for me handle the situation...what else can I say

I was attending a funeral on a Sunday afternoon and was extremely disappointed with the way the services were directed. We're definitely in a "different" time because of the pandemic and the different government and cdc guidelines but I would have liked to see more guidance from the funeral professionals. The viewing ended earlier than listed, there were at least 150 people outside the church, not adhering to social distancing and they could have had the crowd disburse much sooner had they advised only the first 60 people would be allowed entry instead of waiting until after the services were starting. Some of the people denied entry had been outside waiting a whole hour before the service time.

During the stressful time, of losing a love one. My sister Mary Burton passed on 4/7/20. From the time of meeting the staff of O W Wiley, they were professional, and compassionate. I’m very thankful for this funeral home. I loss my loving husband Brian on 7/14/20. This is one of the hardest things I have had to deal with.The owner Mr. Wiley and his whole staff was amazing. They made the process easy and took care of everything for me. I basically told him what I wanted and they made it happen.Thank you
