Similar to a food hall dining experience, so everything was self-served. Nice good Korean American style dishes.

The food was good but make sure you ask how long it will take to get the sweet and sour pork with your meal. We waited about 10 minutes for the noodles and fried rice but then another 40 minutes for the sweet and sour pork.Con: the wait time for part of your meal (specifically the pork)

The wait time exceeded 55 minutes, which was very disappointing, and the crowded dining area made movement challenging, impacting our overall experience negatively.

I visited during lunch 1:30 on a Saturday. Yes it get busy but the service is quick. Here you sit on long tables ( you share tables ) when your done eating you take your plate and utensils to the window ( towards the back of the dining area ) you clean up after your self, because yo muma doesn't work here. You go the kiosk and place your order ( be sure to check the left upper corner of the screen to be sure it says dinning or takeout. The Food Is Very Good I go there while I am doing my laundry, since it is on the same location. Yes they do speak English. Prices are very good depending on what you order. Either way you'll leave with a round BELLY,SMILE

Food is good. However, waiting for an hour for Jjajangmyun is definitely too much.

First time in over 2 years, revisited since family moved away from Houston. Quality of food has gone down big time. Ordered the Jjamppong (spicy noodle soup). Noodle is over cooked, flavor of the soup is no where to be found, completely disappointed food experience. The Paik's chain pride themselves on consistent quality of food no matter the location you visit (think of McDonalds), but still depending on the kitchen staff's effort to make the best quality food possible. This place installed a self ordering kiosk when you are paying with credit card, but the staff behind the counter was not friendly at all. Looking at his phone, points his finger at the self ordering kiosk if you are paying by credit card...then goes back to looking at his phone. Yes, place wasn't that busy (2PM in the Friday afternoon), but I absolutely hate to see someone working at a rest more focused on the phone than assisting customers. Overall experience at this place has gone down big time. Next time I visit Houston, I will give this place another try to determine if it was just one time disappointment or not. Time will tell. For this review, this is my honest opinion of this place (compared to 2 years ago).

The best place for jajjangmyeon and jajjang bap, black bean noodle and rice. Everything else taste so and so.

Food is alright, but the management is absolutely atrocious! Overheard the table next to us arguing with the Korean manager because the restaurant forgot to make their food. My party ordered our food after them and finished before they even got their meal. When they confronted management, the manager blamed the fault on his employee and told the employee that the order will be docked off his pay. As an establishment, you should take responsibility for your employees and NEVER take away an employee’s pay. I’ve worked in the food industry too and I’d be so upset if my employer threatened to take away my pay for a mistake from the restaurant.

Food is great. We get the stir fry noodles along with the noodle with bean sauce and fried pork pieces. The kids love it. Downside is that service is nonexistent (order at kiosk) and the tables are super squished together so even if you share tables with other people, it's hard to get through if you're sitting on the inside. I'm glad they're opening up a Chinatown location!
