Had my nails done here two weeks ago was happy with that so decided to try a pedicure. The nail tech was too rough with the file and scraped my toe causing a small cut. For the price I’m not happy about that. All in all not the relaxing experience I was hoping for. I just hope nothing happens to me from getting cut. I’ve never been cut during a pedicure.

I’ve been going to Palaoma for years now, and have ALWAYS had a great experience. From check-in all the way through check-out, everyone is always so friendly and the vibes are RIGHT. Michelle P. has been doing my nails for a few years, and she’s just truly the best.

Got a manicure done here, the nail tech was very thorough with my cuticles but gentle. I love the aesthetic of the space and the tea they serve is so soothing! Huge plus that they use clean products without harsh chemicals. Could not recommend enough.

I love getting my nails done here! The techs are knowledgeable and very thorough to the care of your nails. My shellac holds up by far better than any local nail salon I’ve visited. My nails have never been healthier. Plus it’s a non-toxic environment.

This place has a good philosophy. However your experience really depends on the person doing your service. If you want to have a great experience request Anais. I’ve had the most unsatisfactory experience with other technicians and worse the employees and managers are so crippled by a micromanager owner that they are unable to address your concerns. Is unfortunate when a luxurious experience is sour by mixed messages between staff and owner (un empowered management )

Beautiful non toxic nail salon! I had a really great experience here. There are literally no fumes in the air and I could see the brands of polish were as low tox as they come, they used coconut oil for the massage which is amazing compared to the mystery oil you get at other salons. The pedicure bowls are brought out for each service freshly cleaned, and they will bring hot water directly to your bowl. The bowls are not hooked up to anything unlike traditional nail salons so there’s no potential for fungi or bacteria to get exposed to. The technician did a beautiful job on the polish and treatments. I’ve seen some reviews about the chair situation and I actually found it to be way more comfortable than the massage chairs you normally get at other salons. As for the technicians I can’t speak to their personal experience however it seems that the set up is way more ergonomic for them since they’re not bending over so far since you are seated up on a platform, making the work area closer to them. At face value it seems pricier than other salons, however when you think about the potential germs and toxic chemicals being put on and massaged into your body it is well worth the extra cost. Personally I always leave the nail salon with a huge headache and I did not experience any of that here which is worth it on its own. I had stopped going to get my nails done because of these issues and am super glad I found a place I finally feel comfortable getting my nails done at.

I really liked my manicurist and the outcome of my bright pink gel polish! Overall I am mostly satisfied, but I wanted to share a few details that make it not quite a 5 star experience. As other reviews have mentioned, it's expensive. I'm comparing them to Milk&Honey in River Oaks, which is less expensive and arguably nicer. The chairs are a little uncomfortable and I noticed the poor staff have to perch on hard stools. That's rough! I want everyone involved to have comfortable chairs. I'm also really confused- there were fancy hand creams sitting next to every station, but none of them were used on me. It was a bit of a tease. I'm not sure what extra money you have to pay for those but I would've thought my gel mani would include more pampering. So I probably won't be eager to return even though I was eager to try them! I love their commitment to clean products. And the staff was super friendly! I'm grateful for my experience!

Such a cute nontoxic nail salon! As a person with PCOS (and now pregnant!), I try hard to avoid hormone disrupting products. I love the atmosphere and their philosophy. And my mani and pedis always turn out amazing!

Meh. If you want to get a basic home manicure with no frills or acrylics done by someone else and relax then maybe this place is okay to come. For $100 I could have bought the supplies and done it myself for 6 months for that price. They chipped pretty much when I walked out of the door. Also non toxic nail polish where? When I saw the selection I was like these aren’t brands that I know that are non toxic there are much better brands. 2 stars because my nail techs were sweet and genuine.

I had Holly today at the heights location and I wanted to say how great she was at taking the time to make sure the skinny French tips i’d asked for were even, neat and to my liking. She really took her time to perfect them, and I came away with exactly what I wanted. Clean, tidy cuticles and a natural looking skinny French. Thank you so much Holly.Service: Manicure

The front lady Cindy was completely disrespectful, it was uncalled for. I stopped to see if I can get a full set, but I didn’t have an appointment ( no big deal if they couldn’t do it) .Cindy said no availability, so she “barely checked” the river oaks location and told me they were fully booked. I said ok no worries. I called the RO location and they said they could do it. Cindy was had rude attitude as soon as I walked in.Lots of these heights nail salon have become very racist and I’m a good paying customer. It’s best to go to the RO location for Paloma.

Love this place! It was definitely hard to find a nail salon when I moved to Houston but Paloma is such a vibe. The aesthetics and services are amazing. Not many salons have a gel builder so finding out this location offers gel builder was great. My go to technician is Michelle who does a great job each time.
