Per the website they do say accept all major insurance but upon scheduling the appointment they do call and say we don’t accept insurance and please pay during the visit. Just money matters.FYI - They don’t even accept Davis Vision Insurance which is mostly used by almost all the employers.

I never knew this place was here until a family member brought me in. I was greeted instantly by Sarah. Ask for her! Sarah helped me and presented me with a variety of frames and we narrowed it down to the right one in minutes! Many eye centers are focused on just the sale and don’t care how silly and/or awkward a customer looks but not at this place. I also got a chance to meet Mr. Duplantier. He’s very informative. Sarah, you rock! I won’t have to go on endless internet searches or across town on a hunt for eyewear. I found the right place. Sarah, again, thank you very much! God bless!

Dr couldn’t tell me or explain what i had on my eye and she prescribed me eye drops for a pink eye.Went to another eye doctor and they prescribed me with the correct treatment. Never going back , very pricy as well , 125 !

Went in for glasses and contact exam. Wasn’t aware my benefits would expire in September (I’ll take that as my fault) but it would have been nice to have been made aware by staff. So that would have lost my $200 in benefits! But again that on me. I ended up purchasing 2 pair of glasses in excess of $800 which I thought was quite expensive but I wanted them so I paid for what I wanted. Asked for an itemized receipt and was charged for things I did not purchase (like warranty) I was never asked about this and it was upward of $75 dollars! FSA doesn’t cover this so I notified them I wanted a refund! Still waiting on my refund. I was left on hold for a long time. I had to call back to get the original requested itemized receipt. Then. I go to pick up my glasses and asked for a trial solution to take out my contacts and try on the glasses and was TOLD NO! Those are for new customers. I literally just had an exam here and wanted to confirm I liked the contacts the day I picked up my glasses. I just think if ONE is spending $800 on glasses a common courtesy and decency would be to accommodate a reasonable request! I decided not to purchase contacts due to this reason. So I just want to say as a loyal customer I definitely did NOT feel valued and this is a shame as this establishment has the makings to be great!P.S I am a returning customer! Last year I never received the expensive tent I purchased for my Tiffany glasses. They gave me the glasses and told me they would reorder the lenses to come back and pick them up. Well time got away and I didn’t get back! BUT I took that fault even though I shouldn’t have had to make the drive way back over for and error that was not my own.Dr. DUPLANTIER is amazing but I was highly disappointed with the experience. I won’t be returning. The selection of brand name glasses I was pretty nice too! Which is why I gave some stars!

I have been coming here for years. The location on wallisville provides the best customer service and care. Staff and the doctor always go out of their way to explain everything in detail and provide me with all options that most benefit me. I recommend this location to friends and family.
