Do Not Rely on Online Inventory - Poor Service and No Resolution. This Pep Boys location, Sharpstown, was highly unsatisfactory. Eve though their website showing four tires in stock, I was informed upon arrival that only three were available. The proposed "solution" was to cancel my order and drive to another store, because I have all the time in the world (sarcasm). Contacting customer service was equally frustrating; they simply created a report without offering any concrete steps to find the missing tire or rectify the situation. Based on this experience, I have little confidence in their online inventory system or their ability to resolve issues effectively. I would caution other customers to verify stock directly with the store before placing an online order.

The only issue I had was that they had no since of urgency in regards to the customers, I personally had to wait 3hr for an inspection! Granted the power did go out briefly during the service, I was told that this wouldn’t affect my timeline as it was a handheld device and not a hardwired one. Nonetheless they were friendly just not very responsive.

Extremely dissatisfied experience, they were very untransparent about my car issue and had me there for hours. The manager Allen was very sarcastic and rude. Very unprofessional and does not value customer service. Will never come here again.

this used to be one of my favorite auto parts stores. went there today to find that they are only a tire store now. neutral rating as I don't know how they are at tires.

I went to get an alignment, and tire rotation at this location and the person assisting me Said that I needed to purchase two new tires in the front and so that they were worn out and needed to be replaced. As we went over the cost line by line, the items did not make sense in the way that he was explaining it, and I wasn’t prepared to spend that much on tires. I asked him to do the alignment to where he refused to do the alignment if I didn’t purchase the tires as he said, he would not be able to do a proper alignment.
He automatically said I’ll bring your car around to you. Terrible service and not friendly. Do not waste your money!

It is the worst experience of a business that is supposed to be prestigious, neither professional technicians nor good service, if you want terrible service I recommend at least visiting 2 branches and they have the same policy of not doing their job well, they left me with an incomplete and already paid job

The lug nuts were way overtightened. When I got home and started replacing them, one of the studs broke off as I was unscrewing it. The torque spec is 89 ft-lbs, but it was clearly way over that—the lug wouldn’t come loose even as it started to move.

I had some concerns about my brake pads and came here to check . I appreciate Cody helping me out and showing my brake pads were okay . Even let me under my car to see for myself which I really appreciate as well . More of I need to see it type of girl . And with his help and knowledge I was able to see things were just right !!!

Was lied to about tires being rotated and didn’t get proper check for spark plugs. I waited over 30 minutes for the false tire rotation that never happened. I also was not offered a free full vehicle inspection. I was actually charged $38 to look at my tires.

I had a terrible experience at this car workshop. They didn't complete the work properly, and the management was awful. There was only one technician in the bay, and the customer service was just as bad. Cody, who was attending to us, was smoking a vape right in front of the customers. They also didn't add a sticker after the service was done. This place is highly unprofessional and I would never recommend it to anyone. Avoid at all costs!

Repairs was done great but when it comes to communication, it lacks a lot. An hour and a half work was completed who knows what time. No one contacted me about it. Had to call and show up at the shop to find out my vehicle had already been serviced.
