I do not recommend it, they only want to get money, even though my dog is completely immune, despite having the rabies vaccine, they require you to test for rabies and apply the vaccine to give her care, they are only looking for money.

Very bad service. I had a very disappointing experience with the service. I scheduled an appointment for grooming and a bath for my dog, but when I arrived, the staff was occupied with another customer. After waiting for 15 minutes, I was informed that my appointment had been canceled because the groomer didn’t show up. While I understand that unforeseen circumstances can occur, a simple call to notify me would have been appreciated—especially since I drove 20 minutes in the rain to get there.
The situation worsened when I inquired if they could still accommodate my puppy for just a bath. Instead of offering assistance, the staff member at the counter became argumentative, insisting it wasn’t his fault the groomer was absent. I wasn’t blaming anyone; I was just hoping for a solution. To my surprise, another staff member joined in, and rather than helping, they both ganged up on me.
I left feeling that I couldn't trust such rude and unprofessional individuals with my pet's care. If you cherish your furry family member, think carefully before entrusting them to this kind of service.
Just a heads-up.

I bought a bag of Solid gold kibble for my pup and it was expired. When I opened it, the kibble looked so bad and had lots of fuzzy stuff on it and on the side of the bag.

This Petco has made me move to using Chewys mainly now. I only now go to this Petco for short notice things and I just dislike the experience in the store. They have a good selection of products, but not everything is always in stock. There is only one good employee there, everyone else is rude and standoffish. It’s short staffed so there are a lot of times I have to wait at the check out because there isn’t anybody there. I bought dry food for my cats and they didn’t end up liking it so I returned it within a week of purchasing WITH the receipt and everything. When I originally bought it, the employee said that I can return it even if it’s opened. So when I returned it a week later, they gave me such a hard time about it. Like they were genuinely annoyed that I had to return something even though it’s their policy? Sorry for making you do your job? Anyways, I’m sticking to Chewy’s to save me the headache. Their customer service is nicer, genuine, and not rude.

Was buying lizard food and the store clerk (black dude arm tattoos) started playing with it like a ball and dropped it on the floor and didn’t even say sorry , he really didn’t care about the situation at all for a worker
I don’t want my items to be throw around and dropped with such little respect and awareness

WORST Petco EVER! I been taking my dog to petco for 9 years and when the one on Hwy 6 closed I was forced to go to this one for grooming. They are ALWAYS late or short handed, ALWAYS have a family emergency (Especially Mandy, either leaving early or can’t do something) Takes sometimes 4-6 hours for a 8 pound dog to be groomed. They don’t care about your animals, a few times my dog is still wet or smells but just spray her at home. I only keep coming back because I can’t cut my dogs hair. Last straw was today! Dropped off at 8:20am and at 12 still no haircut, barely a bath. Mandy mom broke her wrist and baby sick. Slow and poor service.

Website says it closes at 8pm, get to the store at 6:55 and there is an employee at the entrance guarding the doors saying the store closes at 7 PM. I say their website says 8pm and it’s just a quick in and out, yet I was denied entrance. Super unhelpful and unfriendly.

I can’t review the whole hearted food on their website so I’ll do it here. 2 years ago I began feeding my dog “whole hearted grain free all stages of life. “I fed according to the directions on the bag for his weight. He began to get rather round around his abdomen and his fur started getting gross and he started drinking way more over the next couple years but I was associating it to his age because he was 12 around that time. Fast forward to 7/28/24 (this year) we were leaving Petco after grooming and my dog had a seizure. I immediately took him to the ER and his Blood sugar was in the 600s! Mind you I only give him natural rawhide treats occasionally like every 2-3 weeks. So he’s not constantly getting treats or over eating because as I said I was giving him what was recommended on the bag. $3000 dollars and multiple vet visits later after having days of cluster seizures he was diagnosed with diabetes. Both of our lives have been completely changed by this. He still has post effects and some cognitive decline since all the seizures and he has to be medicated at the same time every day with insulin and kepra and his blood sugars have to be checked 2+ times a day. I wouldn’t recommend this food at all! Again this review is not about the store or staff because the staff that day definitely came out to the parking lot to help me while he was having a seizure but I wish I could go back in time and not have put him on that food. And no this is not an isolated event, after telling friends and family what was happening one of my friends informed me that she fed her small dogs the same exact food just for small breeds, and her dog has had 3 seizures but she never took her to the vet because they resolved. Once I told her to take her dog in, the vet confirmed her dog was also diabetic and recommended she switch food. The picture of him is before, able to chase balls, go to the dog park, and run and move without issue. The video was several hours after the first seizure.

Not my normal store because it still does not sell prescription food. They said the vet part is about to open and they will have prescription food then but word is the vet has been process for years. Location is convenient with plenty of parking. Big store with big selection and clean. Employees are nice.

The worst experience my dog has ever had grooming. They could not groom a 7lb Pom. She is very anxious but these girls were young and inexperienced! They called me actually said they were not sure if she was safe for the groomer to cut her down! Like she was a pitpull! The groomer sounded scared and I just told her don’t worry about I’ll come get her! Just because you like pets doesn’t mean you should be a groomer! I love Petco and when she was trimmed at another location none of these issues but the groomer was older and much more experienced! I would not recommend this location if you have an anxious pet! They ill not do well here! Not mention not even a sorry we couldn’t assist your pet! I’ll go to previous location even it farther!

The worst experience I have ever had if I could give it no stars I would! I want to start off by saying the store service I don’t Have a problem with it is the Groomer yesterday I went in I did a walk-in because I was in the neighborhood. The groomer who wears the scarf on her head was very rude to me. She told me she couldn’t fit me in which I totally understood. I made an appointment. I got there today, she had a horrible attitude. You could tell that she barely wanted to groom my baby then after she entered our information into the system I asked her if she was good at grooming because I had a bad experience and I don’t want her cut unless we have to. She began to have an even worse attitude. I showed her that my new puppy had Some matting on her legs she told me that she couldn’t do it and if she did do it basically she would have to cut her hair completely off or she would stop in the middle of her cut if she couldn’t! Basically it just depending on how my three month old puppy would act! I tried to understand her, but it was obvious she did not want to do it because she told me she was completely booked for the day. When I looked in the Window, I did notice she had another dog almost completely bald so I don’t know if she just wasn’t good at it or just plain rude. Long story short basically to sum it up she told me that if she started cutting my puppies hair and my puppy didn’t behave she wouldn’t be able to continue so we didn’t get anything done. Of course I didn’t want her to call me to pick up my baby and she was half cut. She even told me that it was a possibility that she could cut her skin and she didn’t want to do that. going to the dog house and they did a great job! I ended up going to a really good place called Glitz and Glam they did a great job no problems at all! I really wish she had a better attitude about what she is doing. They may also be understaffed because she was the only groomer I saw. She clearly doesn’t like dogs and it shows if you go there you will see. We’re not bringing her a dog. We’re bringing her our babies. I’m definitely calling corporate in the morning I don’t thing she treats the animals right just by the way she was handling my puppy and the one she was grooming. ?
