Subject: Concern About Inhumane Betta Fish Conditions
Dear Petco Customer Service / Store Manager,
I am writing as a concerned customer who recently visited your [store location and address] and was deeply troubled by the conditions in which the betta fish were being kept. Many of the bettas were housed in extremely small plastic cups with little to no filtration or enrichment, and several appeared to be lethargic or living in dirty water.
As you know, betta fish are living animals that require clean, warm water and enough space to swim and display natural behaviors. Keeping them in tiny cups with minimal water is widely considered inhumane by many fishkeepers and animal welfare advocates.
I strongly urge Petco to take immediate action to improve the welfare of these animals by:
Providing bettas with larger tanks or filtered display systems.
Ensuring water is changed frequently to maintain clean, healthy conditions.
Training staff on proper betta care and signs of illness or distress.
I also request that you escalate this complaint to your district or corporate management so that this issue can be addressed chain-wide.
I and many other customers care about the ethical treatment of all animals in your stores, and I hope Petco will take this seriously and demonstrate leadership in responsible pet care.
Please let me know what steps will be taken to address this. I look forward to your response.

We are so grateful for Neddie and the care she gives our fur-baby, Blue. He has major anxiety and is definitely not the easiest baby boy to groom, but Neddie handles him with so much patience, kindness, and expertise. She’s groomed him three times now, and each time we’re impressed with how great he looks and how well she manages his anxiety. Neddie truly goes above and beyond. We can’t thank her enough and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a skilled and compassionate groomer.

I was in the store waiting 30 minutes for the young man to assist me, he just left, never helped me help other customers and left me there, then I went to the cashier who was no busy and without further ado told me that she already has her water ready? I just asked her to support me with the fish then she got busy and better, I wished that kind of service one will consume not only to see their faces nothing I even want to ask food for mu tortle

I made an appointment for .my dog last week.The young lady @ the front desk was nice, when I got escorted to exam room waiting for whom ever to come in. We'll someone came in did not speak did not introduce themselves just ask me what's the problem I felt like this is not good customer service this is awful
She did not want to do her job she talk down to me I pick my dog up and I walk out. I would not recommend this place @ all. I will not be back it was a wasted trip there.
