Dear Petco Management,
I’m writing to formally express my disappointment following a deeply upsetting interaction I experienced at your store on July 31 , around 5:54 PM. This is not the first time I’ve had a negative experience with the same staff member — an older woman(elderly skinny tall) at the front — but unfortunately, this most recent encounter was the last straw.
As a loyal customer who frequents this location regularly and spends a significant amount of money on pet supplies, I expect a basic level of courtesy and professionalism — neither of which were extended during my visit.
My wife called ahead to confirm the availability of medium crickets and was told they were in stock. However, when she arrived to pick them up just minutes later, she was told by this same employee that they had none and, in fact, hadn’t had any all day. ( mind you I live an hour away )This contradiction felt deliberate and dismissive. Moreover, the attitude and demeanor with which I was treated — including glaring disrespect and lack of basic customer service — were completely unacceptable.
While I hesitate to jump to conclusions, I can’t help but question whether my identity as a masculine-presenting lesbian may have influenced how I was treated. I sincerely hope that is not the case, but the behavior I encountered felt targeted and deeply personal.
Due to this experience, I will no longer be shopping at this Petco location, and I will be advising others in the local reptile community to do the same. All customers deserve respect and honesty, and I urge you to review this situation seriously so that no one else is made to feel the way I did. And you should honestly fire her if she can’t give basic respect SO DISGUSTED BY THAT UNETHICAL BEHAVIOR

Quick, easy, and knowledgeable employees.. Online pick up at this location is the best. I always go inside for pick up because that's just me.. & always sooo fast! Monthly cat program = 1000% the greatest investment.

The grooming staff are very nice, very patient, they treated my dog with love and had a difficult time because he doesn't like having his hair cut ❤️?

I called this Petco 7 times today . To let them know that my online order was dropped off at the wrong apartment complex . No one picked up . I was on hold for 13 minutes then someone picked up the phone hung it up . This is freaking insane. I have not talked to anybody yet it’s 3:56 on Petco the and door dash end both messed up my online order both hard to reach and now my cat is without food until tomorrow. I beyond mad

I've always loved this Petco location. The people that work here are compassionate about animals and helpful if you're trying to decide if a certain critter happens to be for you or not. Overall always have a good experience here!

Even though they did not have the product in stock that I wanted, the clerk was nice enough to take the time with me to pick another product that was comparable at the same price. Definitely would compliment them on customer service.

Spoke to the groomer Danielle on the phone to make a nail trim appointment for my dog. She was so rude and inconsiderate. She does not know how to deal with customers at all. I cannot imagine how she treats animals. Just abhorrent. Avoid at all costs.
