So excited this finally opened. Tried the Neo margherita pizza, meatballs, and spaghetti Al pomodoro and all were outstanding. Server was extra sweet and accommodating. Went with two toddlers for early dinner and it was perfect!

It's so nice to see more restaurants coming into the main River Oaks shopping center. This place is small, but it's beautiful and cozy. I wish I got our server's name, but she was extremely helpful and so sweet. The Americano was great, and had zero bitterness. My vegan funghi pizza was incredible, and had a hint of sweetness to it. The real star of this place is the pizza dough! It is called a "slow dough" as it's fermented for 48 hours. They have a large cocktail menu, so I can't wait to come back to have a drink!

It's hard to find vegetarian friendly Italian food in Houston, however Pizzana was a delightful experience. I opted for a spinaci pizza and vodka pasta and felt that they were tasty but do wish they were spicier or had more depth of flavor in the pasta. Not sure if they had red pepper flakes on hand. The place itself is a vibe for a dinner or date. The prices are fair, and food is quite good! It's hard to find good fired pizza, and I think Pizzana hit the spot there. I'm curious to try the other pizzas and wonder if they're open to modifications to remove meat. Will be back!

I dropped by Pizzana shortly after they opened. I've visited them in Dallas and was excited to have them here in River Oaks! The good: the pizzas were great. The Diavola and the Pepperoni were top notch all around. The restaurant has great design and sure doesn't feel like a Starbucks anymore. Staff are really passionate about the brand and the pizzas. Oh, and the Panna Cotta was life changing! The less-so: the bar was really struggling on the night we visited. Our first round didn't show up until midway through the appetizer. Our dessert drink didn't show up until after we long since finished dessert. For the price point of the drinks ($16), they really need to up their game. But the time you visit, this may be resolved. I also had no issues with the price point of the pizzas, but when bundled with the prices of drinks, apps, and dessert, this quickly becomes a pricy pizza outing. At the same time, it's a unique experience. So just know what you're getting into. All that said, very much looking forward to my next Pizzana pie. Their composition is just too hard to resist and a to-go order just too simple to place. Welcome to Houston!

We had an outstanding experience at this restaurant that opened less than a week ago. The menu has a great variety of salads, pastas, and, of course, pizza. Their Caesar salad was rated in the top 10 in Los Angeles. I confess it was the best I have had...fresh romaine, still warm pizza croutons, fried capers and a dressing to die for! The large portion was easily shared by 2. The pizza crust was cooked perfectly with just enough charred pieces to give this pizza even more depth of flavor. The pizza was plenty to share, as well. Our server was well trained and very friendly. The only issue we found was that it was just a little loud in the dining. We will surely be back.

We really enjoyed our lunch at Pizzana! The restaurant is very cute and also casual--totally find to bring kids there for lunch. (I loved the olive wallpaper.) The food was great--our table enjoyed the bolognese pasta and margherita pizza. The pizza had a little char to the crust, which was nice, and a lot of basil. The bolognese pasta was good, but perhaps not my favorite (I think it's typically thought of as a meat sauce with some tomato, but this was more of a tomato sauce with some meat). The real showstopper was the dessert--the restaurant was so sweet and brought out a complimentary dessert of chocolate cake and gelato, and I'm so glad we didn't miss that! The cake was super moist, and the gelato was so tasty, loved it!

We had dinner here last night. The good news is the pizza was really good. Service was great, almost too much so, they are obviously eager to make a positive impression. It's also nice to have a big free parking lot out front and the crowd/vibe was fine. The cocktail I had was good but the problem is the wine. First of all, it's served in short water glasses which initially seems clever given the swiveling pizza serving trays they use. But the cab I was served was warm and not very good, especially given the glass in which it was served. I might go back for lunch if I'm drinking iced tea but don't come here for dinner if you are expecting a nice glass of wine with your pizza.

I expected this to be just another pizza place, but wow was I surprised. The food was fantastic! We came here opening weekend - and usually you expect a few hiccups with food or service, but everything was so smooth - service was wonderful, food was delicious, ambience was very nice. They explained that they specialize in Neapolitan pizzas - their dough is fermented over 2 days and they are very particular about their tomatoes, which are flown in from Naples. We were a group of 5 and we got an appetizer, 3 pizzas, and 3 desserts - and we were very full! We started with the broccolini - which was good (4/5), but I wish the broccolini were more roasted or charred than they were for being "wood fired" - they seemed more steamed to me. As we were mostly vegetarian, we got the cacio e pepe, vodka (without the meat and double the chiles), and funghi pizzas. They were all delicious - most thought the vodka pizza was the best- it had a smokiness to it, which was really nice. The caramelized onions in the funghi pizza gave it an amazing taste. And the cool parmigiano crèma on the cacio e Pepe pizza was unexpected and tasty. We got 2 of the chocolate tortas and 1 of the panna cotta for dessert- they were both so yummy. We weren't sure what to expect from the oil cake in the chocolate torta - but it gave it such a moist texture. We were glad we got 2! Panna cotta was also really good - and apparently the restaurant favorite. I think this might be our new favorite pizza place in Houston and we'll definitely be back to try more of their menu!

Just came back - dinner was great...cacio e Pepe pizza is unique and what they're known for; cocktails were perfect; a bottle of Perrier sparkling water for $8 was a bit overpriced but oh well; a little bit too loud for our liking, hence the 4 stars for atmosphereThe best thing about the whole night was our waiter, Chelsea V - don't know where they found her but they need to clone her and have her wait every table, she was genuine and sincere

We tried the Carnivore Pizza and the Pannacota desert. Pizza was perfectly made, very high quality ingredients and great flavor. Dough was thin and crisp. The Pannacota desert was just ok. The presentation makes it difficult to get a spoon full of caramel, pretzels bits and Pannacota so more often I got too much of one thing and not the other so it was hard to enjoy. Not sure if I can justify the price for that dessert. Overall pleased with the pizza although I'm not sure there prices are easy to justify.
