I would like to thank Maritza for helping me 3 times now! i had went to PLS on Ugalde and Woodforest and the little short shift leader always has been rude and tries to act like my 401k and a business check had fraud which NEVER is the case. I come here to Maxey and Maritza took the time each time to verify the check and i have no issues. Thanks again with the help and smile doing it!

This location has been great to me n my kids they go above and beyond for the customer's thank you lady's for keeping up with us. This location way better then the one on uvalde.

The staff was very courteous, patient, and took care of my wuestions as a new PL$ customer from a week ago. The guided me to the latest app and explained what account types link to their card (cash app and Paypal) , fees monthy 5.00, checking balance.
The original location cashed my 1100 paycheck quickly-- 600 plus cash and rest in card to withdraw right there.The re was no 27 dollar percentage fee like Ace Cash Express. You just pay nothing for the card.
I love acorn bank non traditional and all these third party services. Traditional banks use you and kick you out when they mess up not verying transaction. Ace Cash is terrible with loans at 475 percent if 900 or above but if you can pay them quickly, if will bail you out.
You can't expect Heaven in these times. I'm dropping the Porto Card with Ace Cash because they charge 9 a month plus transfers from your checking to their card then to Cash App. A direct deposit not required though.
Many options people. Ace does load any debit card here they can't.
Great experience at both locations.
