had a great experience at iStorage in Katy off 529. Cindi was incredibly helpful from start to finish! She was patient, informative, and made the entire process quick and easy. It’s rare to find customer service this genuine and friendly. The property is clean, secure, and well-run, and Cindi’s professionalism truly stands out.

I had the best experience. Luci who runs the storage facility, was amazing.. easy process and few laughs.. I don't do a lot of reviews, but I had to do this one. If you need storage, go see Luci.

The staff was friendly and helpful. I like that they now offer double security with both a gate code and a separate entry code for the building. It’s unfortunate that in-person service is no longer available at this location, but overall, the prices are good and access is easy.

I'm new at this location - I've rented from 2 different iStorage locations previously. Cindy is very friendly and helpful and will go the extra mile to ensure your happy with your experience. I would like to recommend to iStorage that if the office is closing for lunch, please post those hours on Google Maps or at least at the store. I've been here twice during open hours and the office door is locked. I'll call the store and it'll inform me that they are on lunch break. It didnt specify the hours for lunch, so I had no idea if she'd be available within a few minutes or 45 minutes. I wasted my time and gas coming here and not get any service due to poor communication.
Otherwise, I've not had any other issues here. If you dont have a cylinder lock, youll need to buy one unfortunately. Ive had to buy 3 different locks for each location because theyre all different. Buy a cylinder lock online from Home Depot to save some money. The one in the picture is the one iStorage sells in their office.
Pros: Easy to reserve a unit online, good rental insurance rates provided, easy to navigate layout of the units, the buildings are labeled, and they offer pest control! Neither of the other two locations mentioned it, but its free!
((Just a heads up for some that they do not take CASH, card only. It is posted on their door. 🙂))

Mason was very helpful with my unit.
I moved in April 4, made my 1st months payment and on May 5, I paid my May's rent, however for some odd reason my unit was over-keyed but Mason came to the rescue!
I appreciate Mason's professionalism, great customer service and patience with trying to figure why my key wouldn't open my unit but Mason solved the problem! Thank you a bunch!

Signed up to get a storage unit over the phone, was super easy. Staff at the facility is great! Highly recommend!
5/6 Update: After 60 days of being in my unit I received a notice that my monthly storage fee was increasing by approx 30% of the original rental rate. Be very careful with your decision making. The world is becoming a desperate place

I am leaving another storage facility for this one. I like my climate controlled unit, the ease of access, and the customer service. The storage facility I was previously at, raised their prices and insurance rates from $40 a month in 2021 to $112 in 2025. That is unreasonable. Also since change of ownership to a larger corporation, the maintenance of the facility has gone downhill, and we can no longer use the dumpster. But that's okay, I'll leave my trash in the unit I'm leaving. There's a lot to say about fair pricing and good old fashioned customer service instead of pleasing shareholders at the customer's expense. It's okay to be a big company, but just do people right. So far, I'm liking this place and have recommended it to my friends. They even gave me a free cylinder lock for placing this review, so thank you for that.
