I’m following adjective will describe my visit!
Sorry I didn’t get his name, but my phlebotomist was having sent. I knew Chris was the lab that I wanted to go to because not everybody can draw my blood, but I have no problem Quest diagnostic lab. I would highly recommend this services to my friends.

As a medical professional, this place does not put patients first. I came to drop off a specimen and sat in the waiting room for 20 mins. At 6PM the young man came out and said “sorry we’re closed”, I let him know I had been waiting and already checked it. He just shrugged his shoulders and said “well we’re closed now”. What is the point of having operating hours if you’re just going to pick and choose when to take customers?

The person that waited on me and preformed the blood test at the lab was very competent and professional. She put me at easy and finished the test quickly.

The nurse took people who had later appointments first, late appointments first. I was was 30 minutes early, and it took 1 hrs and 45 minutes for me to get out. It was not crowded. She spent 45 minutes on 1 person and 30 minutes on the next. Service was terrible!

They respected my opinion. Because I am a hard stick, the supervisor was called in to draw my blood. She used this as a teaching moment, instead of letting them try first. I really appreciated.

The service at the facility on Reed Road was very good however Quest should be ashamed of itself for maintaining an office in a building that is a complete dump that looks like an abandoned old grocery store. The building is in what is widely considered a predominately Black neighborhood and it is clear that Quest has no real respect for its customers or the neighborhood to maintain the exterior in such poor, old, worn out condition without even having a sign that makes it readily apparently that the lab is inside the building. I will go back to the location because the service was very good and it is one of the few Quest labs that does not require parking at office building garage or in more heavily trafficked area but Quest must do better and stop the corporate racism. I would be embarrassed to be in management at Quest and know that it has a location in such a dump of a building and does nothing to make it better and know that all around Houston, at every other Quest lab location, the situation is much different and the only reason that Quest thinks its okay that it have such a dump of a place is because the customer population is primarily Black and not of higher income. The costs of the lab work at the location I went to are most likely not any less than at Methodist Hospital or at hte many other labs around but the conditions certainly are less.

Easy to get in and out of with no waiting. The technician was excellent in drawing the blood that didn't even feel the needle go into my arm.
