Ranosh Cafe is a popular Middle Eastern restaurant in Houston that has been a favorite among locals for years. The cafe offers a diverse menu, including delectable kebabs, chicken dishes, fajitas, fresh and crispy bread, and the beloved falafel. Customers have consistently praised the quality and taste of the food, with the Chicken Tawook, Mixed Grill, and Chicken Shawarma being particularly standout dishes. The cafe's atmosphere is a mixed experience, with the outdoor patio being a highlight during pleasant weather. The patio is described as a 10/10, with a laid-back vibe, natural trees, and a fenced-off area from the road. However, the indoor seating can be hit or miss, with the non-smoking room being less desirable and the main room often plagued by cigar and cigarette smoke, which can be a deterrent for some customers. The service at Ranosh Cafe has received mixed reviews, with some customers reporting slow and subpar service, while others have had positive experiences. The cafe's prices have also been noted to have increased slightly, likely due to the ongoing effects of inflation. Overall, Ranosh Cafe is a beloved Middle Eastern restaurant that offers delicious food and a pleasant outdoor dining experience, though the indoor atmosphere and service can be inconsistent at times.
