This location need to be taken off Google, it's not temporary closed. It's permanent. Grass overgrown, gate around property. Many windows boarded up and some busted out.

There were bed bugs, and the walls were peeling. Didn't get a refund, even though I couldn't stay the night due to aforementioned bed bugs. Would give zero stars if I could.

Asked for no room service. Cleaning attendants were very rude and loud. I come in later and see a towel I never used on the bed. The next day a dirty towel on the towel rack. As a business owner I am very observant. So I placed a bottle behind the door so is would tip over once entered and once I arrived back in the bottle had been moved. I feel they have good intentions just not my top choice.

Had to switch my room 3 times. I mind my business but there was a lot of weird activity. Didn’t really feel safe (even with cameras). Woke up to a roach. Bedding not clean, bathrooms not clean, holes in walls and it smells. All front desk lady to speak to manager she said she’s in charge. I explained what happened and she said she will look into it and call me back…. Hmmm!! If you have children I wouldn’t recommend.

I was very happy to know that the staff here is very awesome and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone because you can come and relax in your room without the extra things that you see in this area..

STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL AND THE AREA AROUND! ITS NOT WORTH THE SAVINGS.Not even worth the cheapest price that they offer. We booked a week in advance and had way better experiences at other Red Roofs. This Westchase houston branch was an instant refund for us.From the time we parked for check in, shady people were clearly having a loud argument about a stolen crack pipe and stolen money. The lobby reeked of cigarettes and the elevator flooring creaked as you stepped in it.After waiting behind some more shady individuals with unusually yellowed and cavitied smiles, we were greeted by a very professional but clearly jaded front desk clerk who gave us our keycards, and wifi information. He was excellent and helpful despite his place of employment.And when we got to the rooms... refer to the pictures for stains on the topsheets, broken furniture, lack of smoke detectors, phone, and alarm clock, also leaky toilets, stained tub and shower curtains. Also despite being a non smoking floor, the room did still smell of menthols.The kind clerk gave us a full refund and we left for the Hilton on Westheimer since it was the only one with available rooms at that time of evening.

Only one room left OMG worst room ever toliet doesn't work cigarette burns on the covers and holes in the wall plus roaches people hanging outside weed spot place strategically the property but yet have the nerve to have security Also front desk attendant was absolutely very rude ......

Arrived late at 3AM as a last resort. (Made an error scheduling camping reservations, nowhere else booked to under 21's)People loitering all over. Trash everywhere in the halls. Lobby reeked of weed, cigarettes, and mildew. Our room had no number. On entrance it smelled musty and everything was dirty. Both beds and all sheets covered in stains of every color. Toilet flushed once and would not stop. Shower had bad water damage. AC worked, but was falling apart, had a terrible smell.We needed to book for only early in the morning of the 3rd (3AM) to leave in the morning of the third (11AM). We couldn't select only that on the website. Receptionist said to book the 3rd-4th on the website and she would fix it no problem. At least we thought. Woke up to an irate man banging on the door threatening our lives for 'being in his room'. He had a key and only the door latch saved it from escalating. Called the front desk who was immediately accusatory asking why we were in that room, who let us in, how we got in, etc. I wish I was exaggerating any part of this review. I would pay the 75 dollars again to forget the whole experience.

First and foremost this facility was taking cash only. No working credit card machines. Given that I arrived at about 1 am or so I really thought this was odd. Almost as if someone here is pocketing cash for rooms or some kind of shady stuff going on. I paid 80 dollars (4 fresh 20s out of their conveniently located ATM in the lobby) and received 10 one dollar bills back as change with no receipt. Obviously this room was something done out of convenience and I will never be returning here, but I just like to warn other customers of the shady practices of some businesses so they don't repeat my mistakes. If you own this business, you should probably check your cameras in the lobby unless your trusted employees turned it off.

This hotel should be closed and condemned. It was filthy and smelled like pot from the street. 2 guys talking about shooting someone in the lobby. Staff was rude and disengaged on cell phones at the front desk. Horrible place to stay

When I arrived at the location after being forced to pay $800 for a full month based on the Expedia app; I knew that I wouldn’t be there for that long and would be offered a refund when I decided to leave. The lady ( I think that it was the manager) gave me no disclosure on anything. She simply gave me my room key and internet instructions. In fact, I didn’t even get. a receipt. I was then charged an extra $100 deposit. I was offered a room that had no working microwave or phone. The room was itchy and not properly cleaned. I barely got any sleep because people were practically screaming all night. Luckily, the shift changed and a young man was in the office to assist me the next day. He gladly changed my room and I was much happier in my next room. I stayed until my sister needed me to help take care of her ( she had been hospitalized). When I went to the office, the manager would not give me a refund or even show me my receipt. She told me that Expedia was responsible for me not being able to get a refund. After a while, I called corporate a nd found out that she could have given me my refund all along. After all, I had been there for five days an me had given the keys once I left. It was very unethical to make me believe that Red Roof Inn corporation was responsible for such horrible customer service practices. Needless to say, when I contacted, them she was only willing to offer me a fraction of my refund. I’m still bothered that she was able to charge double for deposit and it makes me wonder who else is getting swindled in this way. It was a horrible experience!

"This motel's the ABSOLUTE worst motel I've ever bn to! It needs to be shut down & I will not rest until it is or until there's new management there all the way around! I have an autistic son.. we stayed there for about 3 months, ya can't sleep bc of all the crazy unnecessary chaos outside EVERY SINGLE NIGHT ALL NIGHT UNTIL MORN' including pple fighting, & getting shot there quite often! They don't put refrigerators n the rooms.. I don't have anything against marijuana but at the same time this is supposed to be a business & every time u see 1 of the pple who work there including security guards they have either a blunt or some kinda weed n their hands including when I went to get a room this last time for just 1 night, when I walked n the guy who was checking me n that night was smoking a blunt behind the counter.. I know this has got to be on camera somewhere! I have 3 service dogs bc I'm disabled & so is my son! I've had em' for yrs n which they knew about from the VERY beginning! The main lady walked n on my autistic son bathing w/out knocking or anything (shld be highly illegal) not to mention she just stood there watching him n his towel talkin' about his parents who were'nt there! (we were at the store around the corner) insteada waiting on us & letting him finish gettin' dressed! Horrible place! I've bn stalked, harassed, bullied & ALMOST RAPED AT THIS PLACE! Pple smoking crack DIRECTLY under cameras! I've called the cops hell I've even begged the office to look at the cameras! I don't need my son around it at all & they've yet to do something bout' it including banning these homeless ppl from comin' on the property & doin' this n fact it's like they embrace em! Then kick out my poor hard-working family keeping our cash so we cant go to another place therefore havin' to sleep on the streets for 2 days after just losing my mom! I realize it's a business but even businesses are wrong sometimes & this place is beyond wrong! It needs to be 100% investigated! There's a crack dealer n almost every other motel room even offering it to my kid once or twice! 1 guy & his wife were actually kicked out bc he asked the office about a remote control! I'm tellin' ya it's ridiculous! I do have corporate workin' on it as we speak bc I want IMMEDIATE RESULTS especially w Ms. genevova! (I believe that's how u spell her name!) Along w Ms krista always sitting at the pool smoking pot! We've bn done BEYOND wrong by Red Roof Inn motels! 2nd Red Roof Inn we went to we weren't even there a night & got kicked out bc my autistic son threw a cple pieces wood behind their dumpster by helpin' someone else out who happened to live there! Dead serious! We have proof on paper! Red Roof Inn motels need to be either shut down or run by new management point blank period! Non-discriminatory management! This lady is so mean, so cruel & vindictive IT'S ABSOLUTELY UNREAL! If u don't like your job then u don't need to be there but to treat pple like dog crap on the bottom of their shoe especially after giving em' all your hard-earned money for a room that's not even worth half the money ur giving that particular motel bc of a persons disability &/or skin color! What gets me is she was able to call cops when we were already leaving when there's dope dealers, dope heads & prostitutes running all around the motel! My son even had a gun drawn on him.. our entire windshield's bn busted w a brick since we've bn there & when we called the cops bc of that it took em' forever to show up, literally! And then they never showed up for the gun bein' drawn on my son but yet they're here to serve & protect! It only took em' about 2 mins to show up for a non-emergency just bc this woman's purely 100% racist! This isn't just a yelp review I'd most definitely have it

This isn't the best but it's not the worse! I stay here a lot due to business and will always come back.The front people have always been really helpful and super nice, it seems like house keeping comes at least every other day so the rooms are always clean.Also, I never seen any roaches, I was at the intown suites and they had a horrible nasty roach problem and this is why I came to the red roof. I never had a issue with anyone here so I'm always comfortable. Also, the price is really reasonable.

I have been coming to this hotel since November and no matter the room, people, sometimes the maids are not around but the desk staff helped me proper. I stay to myself so whatever others say about the hotel in a negative way is them. Chester the front desk associate has always been cool with me; the maintenance Mr. Flowers and his helper are good to me. Javetta is also a nice and helpful when I ask for something ahe can and has been really good to me. She just needs to get a lil happier. I would stay here again even if I left and came back to Houston. Out of every hotel on Sam Houston even if it is more upscale, I stay here.

Do not stay here unless you want to smells like cigarettes. The whole hotel smells so bad that I left immediately and I booked another hotel. Look at the pictures below, the room is horrible. The white sheet is actually has black spots on them. It’s the worst hotel I ever booked. Stay away from this hotel
