This location was great! The area is within walking distance to shopping! There's a restaurant and other pop-up shops in the area! The hotel is roomy in lobby area! The bartenders were excellent! Just a great place! Our family had plenty of room for family reunion gathering!!
Room: The balcony room was roomy and nice to sit out and listen to the live jazz music in the evening. But when you go inside you didn't hear it so great soundproof rooms.

Nice little area with apartments, hotel and some dinning and entertainment. Stayed at the hotel across the way while in the area for a couple nights. They have movies on the lawn on Saturday nights. The bar in area has it going on Friday & Saturday nights as well. The parking can be a hassle, but there is a parking garage within walking distance. It cost, but not expensive. Maybe a $1 an hour. Nothing else is really in the area.

We took our family to the new Redemption Square for the Juneteenth celebration and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The atmosphere was fantastic, with a lively and welcoming vibe that set the perfect tone for the day. There were plenty of events for kids, which kept them entertained and happy throughout. The variety of vendors added to the experience, offering an array of unique products and delicious food options. The entertainment was top-notch, featuring live bands that kept the crowd engaged and energized. Overall, it was a wonderful celebration, and we look forward to attending more events at Redemption Square in the future.

Even though I worked close by, I had never been to Redemption Square. Today, on 7/5/2024, they hosted a special event called: "Liberty on the Lawn" with eateries, vendors, live music (Caleb Young - he was so good!), and fireworks!!! Awesome!!! Will definitely keep my eyes open for future events!

Today is our second day, the Redemption Plaza hosted a celebration that greatly inconvenienced us. The visitors for this event occupied all the outdoor seating of the hotel. To make matters worse, we couldn't even enjoy taking pictures of the beautiful sunset. We had to pay for parking with our hotel stay much more than the 2 dollars the event goes paid and were told we needed to leave the parking lot, which was quite frustrating as it cut into our already limited time on the hotel grounds.

Went to the free movie night. It was great and not busy or crowded. Don't worry about getting there too early, we arrived early and no one was there! People started filling in once the movie started. Plenty of room for a blanket or your own chairs, the grass is very soft. There is a restroom, but it was locked around 9pm. Lots of restaurants in the area to grab food from as well, even a Kroger to get snacks for the movie.

I was asked to help support the event. Upon my arrival it was explained to park on the lawn and a lady in white is directing the traffic. As I approached the lady in white I rolled down my window and she asked me who was I there for. I told her she responded okay. I asked where do I go she said go in and park. I did just that, as I’m backing into my parking spot I saw the same lady in white running to my car. I rolled down my window to see what she wanted. She told me I could not park there because they were reserved. There was no indication of showing this spot was reserved. I explained this to her and told her she should have told me that upon entry. She said well now I’m telling you and you need to move. I told her she was unprofessional and I was going to call the person that invited me. She started screaming to the top of her vocals saying she’s the one over this event and I can leave. I told her don’t yell at me because I’m not her child. Then I respond “girl bye” and proceeded to roll up my window. She continued yelled jumping around and knocked on my window. When I rolled it back down she told me I needed to leave the property. I rolled my window back up and drove down further and parked then called my friend who invited me. Well Roxanne had already talked to her. She explained that was the lady who would have been paying me for the night. I told her I would never work for someone who is so rude and disrespectful. I did decide to stay and support my friend with her booth and had an amazing time doing it. This was not my first time supporting my friend with her events at this location. I have NEVER experienced such a rude and disrespectful person that was part of the leadership team. As I spoke with others because they wondered why I wasn’t working, they expressed her rudeness as well. Being an entrepreneur as well as an educator professionalism should be a priority. Clear and precise communication would have prevented any miscommunication between us both. This was not a location nor event issue. This was an issue with unprofessionalism with one person, Roxanne. I decided to reach out through messenger instead of writing a bad review but I didn’t receive any response. I’m a communicator and would love it if I could speak with management over her.
