We had an absolutely fantastic experience with SafeWay Driving Memorial! My son was nervous about his driving test, but the staff was incredibly calm, patient, and reassuring. They made him feel comfortable right away, which helped ease his nerves and boosted his confidence.
What really impressed us was their efficiency—when the state’s testing appointments were backed up for weeks, SafeWay Driving was able to schedule us for the very next day! The process was smooth and stress-free, and after passing the test, we took their packet to the DMV and had my son’s driver’s license in hand in less than 10 minutes!
If you’re looking for a professional, reliable, and supportive driving school, I highly recommend SafeWay Driving Memorial. Their service is top-notch, and they truly care about their students' success!

I had a great experience with my driving test at SafeWay Memorial. My instructor, Thomas, was incredibly patient and made sure the test felt as stress-free as possible. He clearly explained what to expect and what to watch out for, which helped me feel more confident. Thank you also to Mr.Mitch I took my road sessions and road test with him!! Thank you for being so patient and helpful to me! I passed my road test and I’m ready to drive now! I would highly recommend SafeWay driving school to anyone who wants or needs to learn how to drive. My teenager took several driving lessons with SafeWay and I’m absolutely impressed with the improvement in her driving abilities afterwards. They teach excellent driving habits and techniques, I feel so much more comfortable letting her drive on the roads in Houston, thanks to them. The communication and support staff was kind and always responded quickly to any inquiries as well. Thank you!

HIGH ALERT: Stay away from this driving school. They take your money and then have no driving lesson times available.
M response to Safeway Driving School's speedy reply: I know you like to try to give this spiel - perhaps spend this time hiring more drivers and purchasing cars. That number is useless unless you report how many people you have signed up across how many centers. Deplorable.

It is in the best interest of everyone on the road for new drivers to have attended a driving school that teaches them proper protocols on the road and the law. It is obvious from today's drivers that so many did not make that choice.
This is an investment into your new driver!!!
I have had one child complete the school and one currently attending. The one who has been driving for a year on her own is an amazing driver! I credit this school!
The school has top notch instructors who are amazing at preparing new drivers for the road. The staff behind the scenes will work with you to arrange times for these lessons that works best for you and your new driver. The manager is amazing!
This is by far the very best driving school and you can't NOT afford to invest in this for your new driver.
Putting new drivers on the road who are ill prepared to deal with Houston traffic and who are unaware of laws will cost you much more in tickets and insurance rate increases due to wrecks. This school is much lower than that will be!!!!
I am so glad I did this for my children!

Parents- I encourage you to sign up your 15 yr olds with SafeWay! Let SafeWay teach your kiddos to drive while you maintain your good relationship with your kids! Plenty of time to drive with them after Safeway’s program! They make the licensing and testing understandable and help you through the documents and the process. Just used them for the third kid and couldn’t be happier!

The front desk staff are friendly and helpful. Both my kids went to the memorial location. Maybe the cost is a little bit more than parents' coaching, but less of a headache, and struggling. Safeway driving instructors at Memorial are great too. They are knowledgeable, understanding, and patient. You may choose Safeway driving at Memorial if you want less tension and frustration in coaching your child.
