He has never let me down on diagnosing the issue and make sure the job was done efficient and swiftly> this guy is makes you feel like you're apart of his family every time you walk through the door. Excellent shop. Came here for a rear main seal, oil pan gasket, rack & pinion and power steering pressure hose. I am new to Houston and finding a mechanic to trust with such a big job was nerve racking but Salah handled everything perfectly, charged a fair price, and had my vehicle back quickly. I would recommend Salah's for any job, big or small. 10/10 experience.

Dangerous place, staff will be nice to you and you will feel like "family", but this "family" will not fix your car and will try to take all your money. Where do I start...
1. They charged me around $150 for brake fluid flush. Look at the picture I've attached, this is a "new" fluid after the flush in my car, I've decided to check it myself because I didn't trust them after our second meeting(will explain). For those who don't understand, the new fluid's color should be clear, almost like a water, so all they did is just replaced the fluid in the reservoir under the hood(costs them about $5), because most customers don't understand anything about cars, and would check only that reservoir, but the real and old fluid is actually in hoses next to your wheels, and it's still dangerous to use it! They've basically left my mother's car in a dangerous condition because this is brakes! So I had to flush everything by myself after them, and I have two full bottles of dirty and old fluid, I just didn't take picture of it, was very angry at the moment.
2. They filled my AC with refrigerant(tested it before and said everything is alright), and in a week when I came to check for a leak, they started to tell me that the car is very old, everything is stock, and we have to replace everything that is related to the AC, which would cost me $2000. They repeated several times they are surprised the AC is still working after a week because there is a HUGE LEAK EVERYWHERE. Well. It's been 2 months already, the AC is still very cold and working fine(according to them, the AC wouldn't work even for a week). Just remember people, those who want to just replace everything, are not mechanics, it's a complete scam. Mechanic is a person who identify the issue and fix it, they couldn't even tell where the leak is(most probably it's somewhere in a hose, which very easy and cheap to fix.. if there is any leak at all..)
3. They wanted to change transmission fluid for $600, explaining that it's impossible to open the fluid pan under the car without removing a frame that is on its way. Well, long story short, I replaced the fluid by myself with the help of only two jacks and flexible socket extension(that they should have) that allowed me to open the pen without even touching the frame. So another scam attempt for $600..
4. They used 5w-30 oil for the engine, while the engine requires 5w-20 and the sticker on the engine says about that. It's not a big issue, some people prefer to use higher viscosity rating of oil in older or/and hard working cars, but at least they should ask the customer in case they don't follow the car manufacturer recommendation, because I would use recommended 5w-20 as the car requires.
What is bad about the place, is not even their attempt to be friendly and nice while trying to take as much money from the customer as they can, but the fact that they didn't even do their job properly for the money they took, and left a car in very dangerous condition(I'm talking about brake fluid). Would never come back, and I feel bad that such places have such good rating so people trust them.

Nice place, nice peoples. Reasonable price for good mechanics work. They checked alignment today on my mercedes right after the dealer shop and found the problem created by Mercedes .

They have experience and know how to repair cars and take care of cars. They also are reasonable and their prices and they are quick and efficient. I have been going to a dealer for years and I'm so sorry because they were horribly expensive and for all I know they did work that was not needed.
