Normally I don't write reviews however I'm making an exception for this store...Went into the store yesterday to purchase a refrigerator around 3pm; the sales person quoted me a better price if I purchase with my Sears card, which I didn't have on me. Who doesn't like extra discounts? Needless to say I left the store in rush hour traffic to go home to grab my Sears card. When I arrived back to the store, Sears card in hand, the salesman suddenly could not ring up the transaction at the same price he had quoted me earlier. It was starting to feel like a bait and switch. I spent the next couple of hours in the store because salesman couldn't figure out how to ring up the transaction as he had before saving me 100$. He was very nonchalant about it. The manager was not available for comment because it was his birthday is what I was advised. So I didn't get the fridge due to price difference. This store needs to be consistent if they want to keep customers. When you consider at the rate that Sears is loosing money and closing stores you would think they want to keep the customers they do have left satisfied. Complete and utter waste of time. Maybe Sears should go ahead and close this store too. I notice that all the positive reviews are from the same "type"of customers. Also watch out for the female sales woman she has an attitude. I was thinking I came to buy a fridge, not a fridge and an attitude.

The crew at Sears is honest, very helpful, and very knowledgeable too. Big thanks to Jonathan W, Mr. Terry, Ms. Kat, and the other Jonathan there. My experience here was great even though the people that deliver (note: the delivery company is *not* Sears) screwed up badly not once, but *twice*... so of course I go and get frustrated and storm up to Sears Showroom to see what's the deal. Basically, one item was damaged when it got delivered, and the second item we received wasn't even the one that was purchased. The crew hooked us up with the nearest possible delivery date for our new/correct appliances and no additional re-installation fee. Honestly, the crew at Sears is the realest for putting up with me and my frustration and this problematic delivery. They've been very patient with me and just awesome for taking care of everything ASAP. Let it be known that it wasn't Sear's fault that this happened (and it rarely happens), it was the delivery people's fault- so don't let this deter you from purchasing from here. I'd recommend this place to anyone and will most likely end up returning anytime I need another appliance.

I couldn't be more satisfied with my purchase made at this location. The manager Terry Elliott was so caring and took his time to explain and answer every question I had. I will continue to purchase appliances from this store and recommend my friends and family to go there as well.

I was looking for washer & dryer and planning on getting the rest of the appliances later on, but I got a great deal and bought ALL the appliances at once at a great price and great customer service.

This is for SEARS CEO and shareholders. We live out of state but we have a rental house in east Houston. My tenant's stove broke and my regular appliance repairman is nowhere to be found. I called my local electrician and he suggested SEARS. My initial reaction was YUCK! SEARS??? My impression is - BIG corporation that is out of touch and would high-pressure sell me into a new stove instead of fixing what we have. I decided to give it a shot. Only because I have given up on SEARS years ago and I thought that that maybe things have improved. My wife called the Wallisville Road SEARS. They were VERY nice!!! A woman answered the phone and spoke to my wife. We were informed that they don't schedule the repairs, but she gave my wife the 800 number to call. My wife called the 800 number to make an appointment. She had to jump through the automated phone prompts which in and of itself annoying as heck. Strike 1. She finally reached a woman that was clearly in another county as her English was not good. So, yes, SEARS, thanks for sending American jobs overseas. Strike 2. The woman asked my wife how to spell Houston!!!! Strike 3. The woman asked what brand/model of stove. My wife did not know, so she had to hang up, call my tenant, get the information, then start the WHOLE tedious process all over again! Strike 4. My wife called SEARS back, went through about 3 minutes of prompts, then the SEARS automated system hung up on her! Strike 5 and we are done. So SEARS, listen up. Here is what you do - 1) Make it easy for customers to give you money! 2) Open a US call center and also allow the local stores to schedule their own repair. 3) Support US economy and offer US made products and support the local community. 4) Have an actual person answer the phone after maybe 3 prompts. American's are tired of Corporate greed. Go the other direction by supporting America and gain loyal customers. My solution? We went to a national generic home repair website, answered a few questions, then received a phone call from a real person in about 1 minute. Talk about motivated! And good luck to the Wallisville Road SEARS employees. You were VERY nice and accommodating. Too bad the "smart" folks at corporate headquarters are out of touch.
