I came in today around 4 PM to pick up an online order. I rarely visit Sephora in person, but I had the time and thought I’d stop by. When I arrived, no one greeted me. The store was not busy at all. There were maybe five other customers in the store in total. I walked toward what appeared to be the checkout area, but the register seemed closed. Three women were standing nearby, and none of them acknowledged me until one of them—a white employee—said, “Do you need help?” in a tone that felt rude and dismissive.
I explained I was picking up an order, and she abruptly told me to go to the front of the store. There was no sign or indication of where that was, so I asked for clarification. Her continued tone and demeanor were off-putting, and the other two women present seemed indifferent. Her attitude and lack of basic courtesy made me uncomfortable and unwelcome.
Once I reached the pickup area, the associates there were much friendlier and helpful. However, the initial encounter left such a bad impression that I won’t be returning to this location. It’s disappointing that customer service standards here seem to only apply when a sale is on the line.

My cousin and I went to City Center/ Town & Country to do some casual shopping on our day off from work. I saw Sephora and a 50% off lip products sign through the window, so I went in to check it out. Straight away, ALL of the employees were standing to the right of the entrance when we first walked in. No one greeted us, or asked if we needed help; they just stood and rudely stared at us with a stand-offish demeanor. No one was friendly and they looked us up and down in a very judgmental way. A man behind us (not with us) even started to walk in and took one look at the staff members as they began to stare in the same manner, and he turned right around and left. I had thought about doing the same thing myself. My cousin and I were definitely uncomfortable, but I chose to inquire about which products were included in the lip product sale. One of staff members told me which ones were included, but then three of the workers hovered and acted like I was going to steal and then I picked my item and quickly got in line to pay at the register and we stood there for five minutes while employees looked at us, but no one went to the register so I could make my purchase. Then a lady walked up behind us and she was helped immediately before us. I didn’t make a fuss about it, but I couldn’t believe I was followed around, stared at, but then when I try and pay, the employees just stare and don’t help me until AFTER taking the lady behind us. The long haired man at the register looked at me with disgust when I finally get to pay, and I asked him how to say the lipstick shade name of the product I was buying and he acted like I was offending him when I genuinely just wanted to know how to say it right for when people ask what I’m wearing. He didn’t ever tell me how to say the name which whatever no big deal, but he also didn’t say have a nice day or anything and all the employees just seemed like they wanted people to not come in and shop and if you did, they just want you to leave. They don’t care at all about customer service or making sales, apparently. I wouldn’t even treat someone I disliked the way I was treated. It was a horrible experience, and I will not be returning to this Sephora ever again. I typically like to leave positive reviews, but this experience was just so uncalled for and unwarranted.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! The same day shipping option is a complete and total scam! My order was stuck “in processing” for 2 days lol and still never received my order or any updates about my order… still waiting on a refund btw. You are better off getting DOORDASH to pick it up for you

The one star is for the facial makeup. It was my birthday and I was expecting fab makeup but it was not what I expected. No pictures because I cleaned it before I left the store.

I will give another great review for the Katy Mills location that went the extra mile to find a makeup artist to do my face for a special event occurring on a Wednesday. It's like they all take off on Wednesdays but Samantha came in for me. She did a beautiful job. It was fun as well. I liked the area they do the makeup is hidden from others for privacy. Highly recommend indulging yourself one day with Samantha.
