I went early, like 5am and my donuts were cold! I warmed them at home and they were amazing!!! If I wasn't going home I would have been very upset.

There I was, around lunchtime, working from home, craving a Shipley's glazed. No problem, right? There's a location 3 miles away, if I bike there and back it'll work off some of those delicious calories! So I hop on my bike, pedal through the heat and the Houston kamikaze drivers, thinking how delicious a pair of donuts and an iced coffee or cold milk will taste. I get to the location, where a sign boldly proclaims they are open from 5 am to 10 pm, and THEY REFUSE TO OPEN THE DINING ROOM. Yeah. They advertise as a dine-in location, and they've got nice booths and tables . . . behind a locked door that they won't open for a customer. So I had to pedal sadly home, thirsty and donut-less, wondering what the world has come to when you can't dine in at freaking lunchtime! I'll have to find some other donut place within biking distance that wants my money, I suppose.

Me and my wife came to get some donuts and kolaches and this old hispanic lady ask what do we need it so i was telling her my order and from the beginning she had a nasty damn attitude, so after tell her my order she take throws our food in the bad with attitude my ask for milk for her coffee almost throw it down her hands and the kicker the napkins she put like 2 like really and our food she put it backwards so the food could mix in the bag all together… last time i stop at this place if u dont want to work thats cool but keep your attitude somewhere else smh

We choose to drive a bit further to get our donuts (raspberry filled, maple, chocolate sprinkle, and glazed) at this location. Why? The donuts are lighter and never oily at all. Delightful. Tasty. It's a weekly tradition our son loves. The quality here is very consistent. Our favorite Shipleys in the region (of the 7 or 8 we have tried).

Can't come in the lobby after 12:00pm and must go through the drive-thru. The reason I gave only 2 stars...

This review is for the parking and drive through. The donuts and kolaches are what you expect “good”. But the annoying thing about this place is the parking. I went today and counted 10 cars parked but as I went into the building I see 3 customers ?♂️ so that just tells me the employees use most of the parking which is ridiculous when they can park in the back like every other business. Please make it easier for your customers to get in and out. Common sense tells you faster service, will bring in more business and money.
