The Pasadena location has some really unprofessional and obnoxious people. They charged me a $48 removal fee for my portable device. I questioned them about what that actually was. Since they weren't removing the device from my car, I was handing it to them, and I didn't get it. I told them I was gonna call in about it and get back to them but I needed proof I had turned in the device, which he REFUSED to give me, but they did email me a service ticket for $188, which I do not owe. I wouldn't even have been here, but the LaMarque location had refused to take my device saying they were closing down, forcing me to have to drive to Pasadena.There are several other interlock places. Choose anyone but Smart Start. Over the past 2 years, I have had to replace my device at least 9 times because of the poor quality of their product. I have literally spent an entire day in a call back cycle where I would call and the system would say someone will call you back, but it was an automated call back and it would prompt me back thru only to end up waiting for a call back. I felt like I was in the twilight zone. Not everyone there is a jerk, but their systems are lousy, and the customer service is lacking. Serving probation is difficult enough without these people devaluing you and treating you like you just don't matter, and they get away with it because people don't speak up. Spend your money somewhere they value your business and treat you professionally, and that's not Smart Start inc.

Went there on the 5th had an appointment for 1030 by ten 1035 they were working on my car and they finished at 1225. very professional fast service.

GO ELSEWHERE!!!I AM GOING ON 2 MONTHS WITHOUT MY CAR SINCE MY REMOVAL.I EVEN TOOK IT BACK TO THEM AND THEY STATED EVERYTHING WAS FINE. NOTHING IS FINE, MY CAR STOPPED WANTING TO START RIGHT AFTER I LEFT THIS PLACE AFTER GETTING THE DEVICE OUT.

Got to install appointment little early.drove 40mins to get there.took almost 3 hours ! Place is not customer friendly! I should have gotten life savers !

Slow AF at install. Came for a broken camera mount and sat forever in the lobby.
