Spec's Wines, Spirits & Finer Foods in Richmond, TX, is a local favorite for wine, beer, and spirits, serving nearby communities like Larchmont, Upper Kirby, Bellaire, Gulfton, Tanglewood, and River Oaks. The store boasts a huge selection of beer and spirits, and many customers appreciate the knowledgeable and friendly staff, who are eager to assist and make shoppers feel at home.
However, experiences can vary by location. While some customers praise the professionalism and inventory, others have noted issues with customer service, particularly at this specific location. Reports indicate that cashiers may prioritize conversations over assisting customers, leading to frustration during checkout. Despite mixed reviews about service quality, the store continues to be a popular choice for those looking for a wide range of alcohol options and a pleasant shopping experience.
