My two kiddos ages 5 & 1 has been attending Starting Point since October 2024 and I’m so impressed with their level of care! Ms.Sam is so kind and plans such fun things for the kids. It’s an all inclusive environment with lots of engagement for my 5 year old who is on the spectrum. Ms.Annie makes the kids the best meals! Everyone in the baby room loves on my little baby like he’s theirs! And I can’t forget LaDonna who always has a smiling face and helping hand with the kiddos. All of the staff are friendly! The facility is clean and up to date! You won’t be disappointed if you enroll your kids!

My baby girl has been coming here for almost 2 years ! Since she was 1 ! For a mother very hard to choose the right day care ! They loved on my baby girl like she was her own ! Now my son has been coming here every year for the summer and the field trips he goes on are so amazing ! Definitely recommend for any parents looking around in the Jersey Village area ! 🩷

The Director , SAMANTHA IS A JOKE , she don’t care about your kids , she never reports incidents and she loves to talk about how the parents don’t do a good job at raising their kids. She is not confidential at all , the workers know more of the parents’ business than we suppose to know. She also have a worker there that is very rough and hits on the kids but will not get rid of her due to their relationship. SHE VAPES THROUGHOUT THE DAY CARE. and once again if it doesn’t concern her kids or the money she receives from the parents than SHE DONT CARE to hear about it .

Visiting family near by and u should hear the way the workers talk to and handle the children while they are outside playing. My relative was so close to going over to report them to management. I recommend doing your homework before dropping off your loved one.

Gotta tell you I was so skeptical about putting my grandson in childcare because of the trauma my own kids went through when they were little; however, putting my grandson at Starting Point was the greatest decision I have made. My grandson always comes home happy, and the activities they do with the kids are beyond amazing, from live reptiles to cooking in homemade ovens, splash day on Fridays, having Princes Arial come read to the children, and all of the learning activities it is just a great place. The staff send pictures of your child doing their daily activities and I must say they feed them very well, I wish I were a kid again, lol!

Starting point is amazing! They provide all the meals (breakfast, snacks,lunch,and dinner)and they recently have started parents night out once a month, which is fantastic and our kiddo loves it! They are open for most holidays and have always been really flexible, kind, and accommodating. They are also really affordable for all they offer and also offer extra activies such as dance and gymnastics during school hours for a really reasonable price. I can't recommend them enough!

We absolutely enjoy this place, they are always understanding and very communicative!Our kiddo had a hard time adjusting in the beginning of the year and now he loves going and talking about his friends and what activities they did. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a childcare.

My son has been there since Oct of '22 and and they have been very good and attentive to him. He had a very rough start, because it was the first time he was really away from me on a daily basis. Now, he loves his teachers' and can't wait to go to school (once he's really awake, lol) and it shows . He has come out of his shell and he know gives daily hugs before he leaves. On top that, if you are looking at the leadership at the school, Ms. Sam, Ms Emily, and Ms. MacKenzie are an amazing and understanding faces of the school. I can not say enough about the teacher. You can see on their faces that they love what they do.

I started my first daughter here when she was just a year old, Ms Barbara did a wonderful job with helping her transition from being with me all day to me being at work. They begin teaching curriculum as early as possible which was very helpful for my daughter who likes to be challenged. When she was old enough to start potty training, Ms Genevieve was amazing with my then 2 year old and really helped the process. My daughter went through a biting phase and they were very communicative with me and helped as she grew out if it..My second daughter started there as early as 6-8 weeks and she bonded immensely with Ms Khatam and the infant teachers.Now my third daughter is there as well and I have never had any major complaints.I think all work places have a few less than enthusiastic employees but since the 3 years my kids have been there, I think Management has done a decent job of keeping people on staff who really like kids and keep it professional around the kiddos.I definitely would recommend this daycare to friends and family.

This was My School Age Daughters First school Year at Starting Point and they have been nothing but amazing and supportive . They are understanding with My daughters disabilities and handle any escalations in a respectful manor . They are also Very responsive and attentive . I love the New Director, assistant director and coordinator . Thank you Ms. Sam, Ms. Mackenzie and Ms. Emily for having such an amazing relationship with me as a parent and my daughter in your care.

Horrible!! My daughter in law and my granddaughter just left this facility today and will never return! We are all excited to take a tour that was scheduled last week! We got a rude awaking! "Ms McKenzie" was very rude from the minute she opened the she opened the door! We told her we had an appointment but she snapped at daughter in law that they don't tour this early, she didn't have our names down.. asked how old is my granddaughter, then abruptly told us she didn't have any openings! We were stunned and shaken how she as a "assistant manager" at a daycare be so rude and disrespectful and could understand why! All of this in 5 minutes! My daughter in law is still shaken!! Never will set foot nor will I ever consider leaving my precious granddaughter!

This daycare has obvious fake reviews. As an employee you would expect professionalism across the board. I as a traveling substitute has been around to many daycares . I get to witness the most immaculate daycare academy’s. This one in particular I wouldn’t refer anyone . If the parents could hear and see how the teachers speak and handle their kids they would understand .

They don’t care about their employees. I only been there for about 2 months and everything started to go down hill. They show favoritism,some coworkers are messy,classroom unorganized,it was to much and overwhelming for me to the point I put in a two week notice. The Assistant director was highly upset causing a scene and both director and assistant director didn’t let me finish my two weeks. I don’t recommend no one working here. It was a very upsetting experience working here
